“The Humpback Brewery is based inside the historic Tathra Hotel on the headland. The location is superb with sea views in multiple directions. The building itself is recently renovated with a main bar area, restaurant off to the side and multiple outdoor verandah, deck and beer garden spaces. The ambience is good and the food we had was decent quality pub fare. They have about 10 taps of which about half were from the Humpback Brewery beers. These were just ok - nothing wrong with them but not that interesting either. They tasted a little commercial to me. Maybe in time they'll be a bit more adventurous. The other taps were devoted to other craft offerings. Still, as a venue it is excellent.“
