“This may be the best beer bar in France. 12-sih taps, all French craft, I can’t believe I just typed that. It’s a bit outside the city in Villeurbanne, the suburb people from Lyon move to when they have children. The place is quite child friendly with a playground in the beer garden which I guess is great if you have kids, but might detract from your experience if you do not enjoy listening to multiple screaming babies while you drink your beer. Easy to get to on the A-train. Staff are not hired for their beer knowledge. They have flammekueche, not the best I’ve ever had probably the worst actually but I don’t have it often. Fair prices. It’s a real live beer bar, in France, you don’t need to know anything else, definitely worth the ride out.“
