54 /100 PO BOX 1220 (CALL FOR DIRECTIONS) Nice little brewery taproom with an outside garden. Beer is merely ok but staff is friendly and when the weather is good it’s a nice experience. Value is great... a flight was 75 rand (6 beers), and then you get a free pint or bottle of your choice as well. |
64 /100 PO BOX 1220 (CALL FOR DIRECTIONS) Really small pub. Arrived just in time, since there was a tasting getting started right away. Friendly bartender. Only Mitchell’s beers of course. Nice to drop by, but not really worth a detour and there are a lot of other places in Knysna and CT where you can taste the Mitchell’s beers... |
62 /100 PO BOX 1220 (CALL FOR DIRECTIONS) Not sure why "rare beers" is checked. This place is pretty cool and definitely nice to visit if you are a beer geek and in South Africa, because pretty much all of SA is a quality-beer desert. Anyways, the place is pretty nice, full bar downstairs, seating area upstairs (where me and my buddies partook in some karaoke). They serve their own beer as well as others (including Becks and Pilsner Urquell). I didn’t try the food. Will revisit, since I am here for 5 more months. (P.S. I have it such a high value rating because the dollar-to-rand money exchange is fucking awesome!) |
74 /100 PO BOX 1220 (CALL FOR DIRECTIONS) Nice small pioneering brewpub in the heart of the touristic Garden Route offering solid beers. |
