82 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Urige Hausbrauerei mit leckeremEssen und gutem Alt. Was will man mehr? Hin gehen! |
52 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 4 very decent beers. Nice place. |
70 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Rather large German brewpub with a neat, wood-laden interior. More southern German than Niederrhein style, I would say. Service was ok, food was tasty. The most worthwhile part was surely their unfiltered altbier ("Kellerbier"), served in a lovely ceramic cup. |
76 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 I stopped by on a beautiful Suday with my wife and we had a great time. It was my second visit so I had already tried the beer before but this time I ordered the food which was very good. They had their three regular beers on tap plus a pils.
As the others have mentioned, a lot of wood inside. The bar room is friendly and comfortable - we enjoyed the atmosphere.
I need to return to try their Bockbier then all will be complete. |
62 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Classic timber-driven interior, a bit Schwarzwald; situated behind the church of a small country town; no English spoken. The 2 "altbier" have a smoke character; unusual but great brews. |
84 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Worn in traditional pub, filled mostly with locals. Food is good, but not all that memorable. the beer on the other hand... How about phenomenally well made unfiltered altbier, brewed over open fire, served in small ceramic mugs? One of those very few places that are able to enhance tradition. |
72 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Small Brewpub in Willich, about 1 km from Anrath station. Very cosy interior, but not too dark. Good value food, good Altbier, a very interesting Kellerbier (in fact a stronger unfiltered Alt), plus Weizen and 2 seasonal Bockbiere. Recommended. |
54 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Large village-center brewpub with a patio in front of and a "beer-garden" in the back of the buildings; beside their own beers they serve "König-Pilsener" from Duisburg. It’s hard to find anything which is not made from wood inside.......
Friendly, quick service; worth a detour ! |
64 /100 JAKOB KREBS STRASSE 28 Visited this brewpub, located in a village not far from the Dutch border, in the good company of MoritzF and Pivnizub. Almost everything is wood in this brewpub. The waitress was friendly enough to pour me free small samples of all their beers, because I had to drive home. Beers are above average, the coffee is also decent. The atmosphere is very German. The pub seems to attract a lot of cyclists, enjoying a beer or two. |
