“Interior is cozy but open, plenty of diverse seating. Servers know their craft and make you feel welcome. Food is good - try the mushroom bowl. Beers are good - well, at least the one I tried is. Drop in sometime.“

“It's a Mellow. Decent beer selection, decent beer prices, expensive pizza. Fun vibe with young servers.“

Dogwood Growlers (Beer Store)
6215 BELLS FERRY RD
“My new favorite place for getting craft beers. They have 20 beers on tap and are always rotating their selection. My wife and I love going there to sample their beers and then take home a growler or two. They also have home brew supplies.“

Charlies II (Beer Store)
5080 BELLS FERRY RD NW
“Little shop literally in the middle of several neighborhoods and the better part of a mile from the nearest store. A bit small, but they have a good selection, including some hard-to-find craft beers. Nowhere near giants like Total Wine, but getting there. Service is stellar, and I was asked if I needed assistance by three separate representatives before being drawn in to a friendly conversation with one of the staff. Fair prices, but nothing was a stellar deal. Not many singles were available for a mix-six pack, but there were plenty of good bombers and six packs.“

Charlies II (Beer Store)
5080 BELLS FERRY RD NW
“Charlies II is now the place I go to buy my beer. It is small and doesn’t look like much, but the selection and service are far above anything else in the area. Follow their twitter account @Charlies_2 if you are interested in new arrivals. Often it is possible to find that beer you are interested in that you can’t get anywhere else. They are more than willing to order anything for you and break a six pack of anything you want to try. You will not find a friendlier place to buy alcohol. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.“

Beverage Mart (Beer Store)

“Great local place in a place that doesn't get much action. One really knowledgable staff member, the rest are kind of indifferent. Not bad for a store dominated by liquor. Always get the new beers that come into GA. Only gripe is that they could stand to offer more bombers.“

“Authentic Cajun & Creole food, a destination restaurant with a beautiful antique wood bar taking up half of one of the two rooms, in a early 20th century historic building. Beer selection weak, the usual macros, plus Sam Adams seasonals and Louisiana based Abita selections. Cajun "low country" boils on Wednesday nights, all the crawfish you can suck!“

“Great surprise. If you live north of Atlanta and want a decent selection but don’t have the time to go to Green’s this is your place. Terrapin seasonals, full Sweetwater line up. Real Trappists, Thomas Hooker, Brooklyn....I’d go on but I’ll run out of space. “
