“This place reminds me of dive bars back in Pittsburgh. You know the little hole in the wallas? And for some weird reason, the ladies all dress up in dresses and expensive coats and purses, while the gentlemen all wear collared shirts and suits. I don’t understand it at all. The food is good, pizza is even better. The drinks could be priced a little lower but the people that go there think they are hot you know what. Parking is the biggest problem, since you have to park a while away to get close to it. The wait staff is horrible at meeting up with and keeping up with what you want and order. They disappear way to much and the manager just seems not to care about his employees that much. Not the best place to go.“

“Amazing selection of everything. Its not a TOTAL WINE, but its the closest thing we have here. Plus if they don’t have it, they can order it for you. The had that Jack Daniels Sinatra Select, but for $150, I passed up on it. Still cheaper than the other liquor stores inside Albany, and the staff is always willing to help and seem to be avid alcoholics too lol!“

“Way, way, way to expensive for a place like Albany. Its always crowded though I don’t get it. People all agree with me but they still go, I don’t get it. Anyways, the pizza is good, but the wait staff is horrible. They disappear way to long. And why does everyone look and talk like they are stoned all the time?“

“The Mellow Mushroom in Albany is located in the same parking lot as the movie theater. It’s a great place to eat before going to see movie. The pizza and calzones are usually good, but when it comes to craft beer, this restaurant is definitely lacking. They have plenty of Sweetwater options on tap, but only three high gravity options. Sadly, Mellow Mushroom is probably the only place in Albany where you can order decent beer.“

“Visited here in late Oct ’13 on my way up to Parents Weekend at my son’s college. Large warehouse style layout with the entire back wall devoted to beer. Has hundreds of sixers from southern regionals and common craft from across the country - and all are available as singles. A friendly clerk could tell that was what I was looking for and he promptly told me that everything was available as a single and all for 1/6 of the six-pack price! Imports were mostly decent commons - but enough to keep it interesting. Picked up about 20 new ratings without even really trying. Very fair pricing. Service was super friendly and extra careful at checkout to ensure all prices were correct. Will be back my next time through Albany.“

“It’s hard to find craft beer in this part of Georgia, but the Warehouse is a great place to start. They have a decent selection of craft beers and their prices can’t be beat. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is in a sketchy area of Albany, but its worth a visit.“

“Dark place that is VERY HOT. I dunno if their air is messed up or what, but it was borderline miserable.

Service was prompt and friendly, but no beer knowledge whatsoever. Cute little girls are your servers, which is fine, but don’t ask about beers. When I asked what beers were available I was told, "We don’t have a list, you have to look at the chalkboard," which was in the next room over... I had to ask for a glass to go along with my beer as well.

Decent selection for the town... lots of Sweetwater, some Bells bottles, and more.

I got a pizza calzone, and it was fine... not great.

Average prices for the food. My 12oz bottles of beer were $3.50 each, though, which was a bit high considering they were just Harpoon and Third Coast.

Overall, if you want a decent beer in town, you really have no choice besides this place and Mellow Mushroom... I’d go with MM.“

“So I was stuck in Albany for two days and didn’t know where to go. RateBeer didn’t have much info, so I just started going places. After a few hole-in-the-walls, a random person recommended Warehouse, and I’m glad they did. A bright, nicely-lit, and clean place. Bigger than other places in town and a much nicer selection. The place was busy, so it must be decent, right? They don’t have any super beer knowledgable staff, but they are everywhere, know where everything is, and are EXTREMELY nice. I was blown away by their kindness and help. I was able to happily walk away with 12 new rates including a new sake style I needed! Probably about 15 different sakes as well as hundreds of craft brews including, but not limited to, Sweetwater, Terrapin, Duck-Rabbit, Oskar Blues, Chimay, Westmalle, Brooklyn, Highland, 21st Amendment, and more. A pretty solid place!“

“Stuck in Albany and gotta eat somewhere! If you’ve been to a MM, you’ve been to them all. This particular one was very Sweetwater-heavy on tap, which probably takes away from other options. Not a bad taplist, though. Service was pretty slow and the waitress wasn’t very attentive, but she was probably pissed I was by myself (less tip). My calzone was delicious, but overpriced, as always.“
