“Sister business to Maltitude bottle shop. The food and taps are great, along with a nice selection of bottles and cans. Big open floor and a long bar, great place to eat dinner and enjoy a couple draft beers.“

“Nice little shop, mostly liquor and wine. They have a small beer selection and only 1 door of singles. Probably not worth a stop, if your just looking for beer.“

“Great shop and location. They have a very nice tap list, drink while you shop. Lots of singles available one of the few places around. Prices are reasonable.“

“On a scenic street in downtown Columbus. It was undergoing construction/renovation but the building complex is vintage and homey. Caters to and themed for the Army guys from the nearby fort. They don't have flights, but you can get 7 wee tasters for like $2.50 The beer was all pretty weak - flat and underbittered. The best beer just rose to the level of average. Parking is easy, food smelled good but we didn't eat due to time of day. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, there are ticks to be had, but I wouldn't go out of my way again.“

“Visited here in mid-June '18 on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Great little downtown storefront location in an old historic building. Rows and rows of bombers both regional and national, plenty of six packs to whet the appetite. Have a refrigerated section with a solid selection of singles. Many regional breweries represented. Have a growler station as well with about a dozen taps. Worth a stop if in downtown Columbus.“

“Visited here late on a Saturday night in mid-June '18. Big warehouse feel to the place, well stocked and organized with plenty of room. Excellent beer selection for the area, plenty of regional and national bombers. Quick stop on this visit to pick up a bomber for the evening, will investigate more on my next visit.“

“Visited here in mid-June '18 late on a Saturday night. The place was packed and lively. Located in a an old restored building in downtown Columbus. Excellent beer list, loads of Georgia craft in both draft and bottles, prices were moderate for the beer. Gastropub-type menu, a dozen or so appetizers and a handful of rotating entrees, burger I had was excellent. Warning, the 'market price' of the meat and cheese plate is $42!!!!. Service was spot on and friendly. A definite stop if in the Columbus area.“

“Visited here in mid June '18 on a Saturday afternoon. The place was picked, typical wing joint, had a band playing, Very impressed with the beer list, had about 20 or so Georgia, Florida and Alabama regional craft selections. Omaha, Southern, Wild Leap to name a few. and they had them listed on an up to date mini-menu, Plenty of wing options, burgers salads etc, Great service, kept up with our very large party. Pleasantly surprised.“

“Visited here in mid-May '18 and also way back in 2004 ( I think my rating got deleted). Located downtown in an area of other restaurants and nightlife. Military themed decor, Ft Benning influence obviously. Have about a dozen of their own on tap, same regulars that were here here when I visit 15 years ago, they also have a few seasonals. Quality is fair. Decent pub grub menu. I had a buffalo chicken wrap and it was pretty decent. Worth a visit if in downtown Columbus.“

“Visited here twice in Mid-May '18 passing through town. Located in a strip mall on the north side of town, small for a Mellow Mushroom, plenty of 'shroom paraphernalia on the wall. Service prompt and friendly at the bar on a Friday at lunch, a bit slower on Sunday due to the after church crowd it seems. Food, like all Mellow Mushrooms is solid, pizza, salads, cal-zones, burgers, sandwiches, and reasonably priced. Beer selection is better than most Mellow Mushrooms, plenty of Georgia locals such as Omaha, Printer's Ale and Gate City as well as national craft selections, some as low as $4 a pop. Worth a visit if in the area, convenient to I-185.“

“Nice, clear mellow mushroom. The servers were quick and knew the tap list pretty well. Pretty short list of draft beers, for a Mellow Mushroom, and not much interesting on it. Good pizzas, as always. The tap prices were very good. Pretty nice place, I guess.“

“Big restaurant downtown, with a spacious, industrial feeling. Our waitress was friendly and quick, but wasn't terribly knowledgeable about the beer. The standard options were on tap, plus three seasonals. Nothing too crazy. The foods was excellent, at least the burger and cuban sandwich that we had. Pints are pretty cheap, and the burgers aren't too pricy. This was a nice little gem in a pretty awful town. I'd come back, if I were in the area.“

“Unassuming little wine and craft beer shop in historic downtown. Decent selection of Georgia and southeastern US brews along with well selected highlights of other US craft brew regions, meads and imports. Nice tap selection as well. Laid-back service recognized I didn’t need help until I asked and then was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Decent value on most items and about as good as it gets in the pleasant revitalized downtown of Columbus.“

“Evidently this place has improved in the last few years. I did a six flight of 6 of the 10 available house beers plus their root beer and they were all decent to good. Had a pint of the stout and it was quite nice. Food choices were standard pubfare with a few southern touches. Pizza and a grilled chicken sandwich at our table were both tasty. Service at the spacious outside sidewalk seating area was good. Indoor atmosphere also seemed comfortable and has all the typical restoration touches expected in a historic brick and wood downtown space. Second visit update: well maybe they haven’t improved so much. Tuesday night bar visit found staff vs. customers about even but service was awful. Manager stood around looking at his phone like he was expecting more out of life. IPA keg blew when I ordered it and I think they filled the other half of my pint with a wheat brew and soured tap lines. Second visit felt a lot like getting pulled over in the old South Georgia speed traps.“

“After hearing a colleague share how the owner bullied her by following her around the store and complaining that my colleague was "always in the store and never buying anything" (this was my colleague’s second time in the store; her first time had been months before), I wasn’t surprised to hear the owner snapped and sicked her husband on whatever competition she could demonize. Dirty politics, back alley deals, and shady, shady business make this a place to avoid. I sincerely hope the owner seeks professional help and repents from trying to destroy legitimate local small business in Columbus.“

“The food far is far and away better than the beer. While there are some good beer offerings at Cannon, nothing is what I would rate as ground-breaking, or even excellent. Red Jacket is by far their best brew. Still, a nice little brewpub in what is the beer wasteland of Columbus GA.“

“A fairly normal liquor store nowadays, but pretty good for non-Atlanta Georgia I suppose. One entire shelf dedicated to craft beer with some pretty rare stuff. More Georgia craft beer would have been appreciated but they did have some Terrapin and Jailhouse brews I’d never seen before. I didn’t really talk to the staff much but they seemed friendly enough. Average prices. Overall not an amazing place but there are definitely some good beers being sold here.“

“This is a great store. As good of a selection as any growler store in metro Atlanta and better than most. Also carry a small selection of gourmet food (mostly cheeses and meats) and wine. Very good section of bottle and canned craft beer that isn’t as a Hop City, but is obviously curated well. The dog is weirdly obedient and typically sits right at the edge of the doorway just watching pedestrians go by. The two guys there today were both cyclists and extremely friendly and willing to chat about Six Gap and the Jacksonville beer scene. Definitely recommend this place. They need carts or baskets though.“

“I like the place, but it’s clear it makes use of an old building instead of custom design for a brewpub. Bar area is pretty small. I’d imagine it’s hard to find a place on a Saturday night. Dining areas are mainly in rooms to either side of the main entrance area. Cool sign at the bar shows the tap list and how much remains. Beer is generally good, but not the most creative selections. The food was solid, but they were going through a menu change when I visited so lots of stuff was unavailable. The barkeep was attentive, friendly, and tried to help as much as he could. They have growler for sale, but you have to leave and walk in next door because Georgia law makes them sell the beer to a distibutor and then buy it back and sell it from a different store.“

“Went here a couple of times while attending a course at Ft. Benning and this place was pretty average. Their beer is okay at best, the food was a better, but the service could use a little more training. Another positive is that the prices are very fair. If you are close (like walking distance) might be worth a stop but nothing to really go out of your way for.“

“Neat place in downtown Columbus. There is a nice selection of quality craft beers to chose from. You can build your own six-pack and there are 12+ taps in case you have an urge for a growler. Good location as it is close to the Cannon Brew Pub.“

“Good food, OK beer. Last time I was in, they did have a few good imperial stouts on tap (oskar blues tenfidy), and the bartender was pouring full pints rather than the 8 oz pour that was described on the menu. Not the best selection, but in the craft beer starved environment of Columbus, GA this is a good option. Food is pricey... I will return.“

“Rather unassuming building in North Columbus. Looks like your average liquor store. However, inside there is an impressive selection of craft beer, specifically in the 22 oz + bomber section. Some hard to find stuff is tucked in on the shelf as well. Havent spoken too much to any of the employees, but they have always been nice at checkout. Only downside is a smaller refrigerated craft beer selection.“

“Biggest liquor store in Columbus that I know of. Warehouse feel to it. Service is good, staff is friendly and enthusiastic. I enjoy talking to a few of them whenever I go in. Selection is usually pretty good, especially of six packs and bombers. Variety doesnt change too frequently, and limited run bombers tend to go quickly because of hoarding / hiding by staff in certain areas of the store. Prices are competitive. Overall, my other go to liquor store in Columbus, GA“

“Only place for craft growlers and only craft beer only liquor store in Columbus, GA. Neat store located downtown. Cool tap wall and decor. Innovative and original for a liquor store. The guys who own the place are awesome. They are always willing to show you what is new and talk about what is coming soon. They are also beer enthusiasts and very knowlegeable. Prices are a bit higher here than elsewhere for some of the bottled / canned goods. Ill gladly pay the price though to support this new small business. Overall, a innovative place and one of my go to liquor stores in the city. Especially for to-go draft beer.“

“This is a new place in downtown Columbus. They had a good selection of craft beers, including singles, six packs and growlers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty decent. The store also has a nice ambiance. Definitely worth a visit. A bonus is that the Cannon Brew Pub is on the same street.“

“A nice brewpub in downtown Columbus. They offer a large selection of craft beers. We ordered samples of all of them. Not all the Cannon beers were great, but I liked the Nelson and the brown ales. The food was excellent! I recommend the Pig Pie. The only downside was that our waiter was slow. Overall, this place is worth a visit.“

“The Brew Pub is located in downtown Columbus. Nice place to check out as there is not much else in the area. The pub has a typical rustic atmosphere with a military theme. Of cousre Ft benning is just down the road. The brewpub has a nice selection of beers. Nothing fancy or over the top. Of the beers I ordered, the Golden Ale was decent and went well with the meal. Their wheat beer was good, but I enjoyed their IPA best of all. They have good pubgrub although their menu may be a bit extensive. Service was good. The Brewpub is worth another visit. “

“The beer is average and the food is decent, but not the best in town. It’s a cool spot none the less. The service sucks in proportion to the beauty of the server. Server intelligence seems to be inversely proportional to beauty. What can I say? Oh, and the manager seems disaffected and useless.“

“Beverage store off of Exit 10 in Columbus. Large selectino of 6-packs of macros and micros alike, both foreign and domestic. About 30 beers by the bottle on a rack in the middle of the store, with everything from bottled Belgians to English ales. Very knowledgeable salesperson helped direct me towards a few good choices and how to enjoy them. All in all, not a bad beverage store.“

“It was awesome to find a brewery in Columbus. About ten seats at the bar and 30 tables in the restaurant. You could see the brewing equipment and the walls were exposed brick. Nice ambiance and not too many tables, so it didn’t feel so crowded. The regular beer was nice, but the seasonal dunkel wasn’t that great. The beer menu explained the history and characteristics of each of the beers, and there was a chalkboard with the status of various different concoctions they were making. They only sell the beer that they brew, so don’t come expecting anything else.“

“It is always a pleasant feature of a town to have its own brewery. However, this one was not too exciting. The ambiance is nice and inviting: historic downtown location, exposed brick walls, tasteful decor, and bustling, though not overcrowded, business. The problem was chiefly the beer. I was not very satisfied. It is also strange that the bar is so small. Our waiter was nice, courteous, and informative in our interactions, however he was a little slow and unattentive. All we had was one round of beer and it took a considerable amount of time for that.“

“If it wasn’t for this place the 10 days I spent at Ft. Benning would have been horrible. Really do not get the bad ratings b/c this is an above average brewpub. The decor is great, fully exposed brick building. Was a 2 story building once but not the middle part was cut out so the ceiling is way up there. But the brewing equipment is still above the main floor. There is a fireplace 10 feet above your head, cool. Lots of army decoration and a separate area with some booth for family i would think. Big open area where everyone sits and the bar at the end. Food, had a few thing would say between below average - average. Service could have been better on a pretty quiet Saturday afternoon. Its located in a nice part of Columbus, next to the river. Now beer: I was highly impressed. 4 regulars on, one was out and a seasonal.. The seasonal sucked but it was a gimmicky beer. All the regular beer was above average. Maybe the brewer changed or they got their sit together cause the beer was good and I enjoyed every one of them.“
