“This place is both a tasting room and a bottle shop, a good place to stop for a crater or two and then grab some bottles and/or cans to take home. Practice social distancing and mask up between glasses, and you'll be fine. Servers are helpful and knowledgeable, and will make you glad you decided to pay a visit. They have a good selection of beers on tap and in cans/bottles. Remember - you don't have to drink with your pinkies up here!“

“Seriously just go there. This is the place you want to go to find some great beer, wine, and people.“

“A worthwhile stop in the Atlanta metro. Very solid beer. Big facility, nice benches and a couple of sofas. Looks like it would be big fun on a clear spring day. I was cranky, distracted and having to talk business, so I couldn't really judge service - think it was solid. Lots of taps - good selection. Looks like parking is reasonable.“

“Thought it was a decent spot. Some solid pints on tap. A short walk from Gate City and some good restaurants - they have remote-order stuff, but no food of their own. On-site parking is tight, I don't know about nearby parking. A nice patio, airy feeling but not agoraphobia-inducing. $10 flights of 4, as of this writing.“

“Definitely a must if you live and/or work in the Roswell, GA area. Interior is cozy but not cramped - though parking might be a problem when they are busy. Food has to be ordered from a nearby pizza joint, but they are quite good. They have some impressive year-round beers and great variants on them, hence the name. Servers know what they are doing. Definitely drop in if you have the opportunity.“

“A bit off the beaten path in Roswell, but once you get there the Southern charm is evident, lots of wood everywhere and the whole place smells like smoked meat. Service is fantastic, knows their beer and quick while still being courteous and friendly. Selection tends towards the new hot stuff available locally and from surrounding producers, so if you have a closer spot for that, nothing special, but a honey-hole for Roswell folks. Food is great, Southern with a twist, brunch and bar food too. A little pricey, but not unreasonable. Check it out if you're in the area.“

“Nice, new taproom with high ceilings, lots of seating inside and out, a decent sized bar...it is very well thought out. But parking is definitely an issue, only like 8 spots in front of the actual brewery. Service is great, quick , courteous, and know the beer very well. Selection is solid, varied and all well made, leaning towards the new school hype stuff, but not bad. Worth a stop for sure, and walking distance from a couple of other nice beer options, so you can make a day of it.“

“This out-of-the-way Southern restaurant is worth finding. Their emphasis is on good Southern cookin', but they have a decent selection of beer, emphasizing local craft brews. Servers know their job, helpful and friendly but still efficient. Come for brunch and try an omelette!“

“Strip mall location. Nice looking. Didn't try the food but the beer was excellent. Bartender was a home brewery so she was definitely more knowledgeable than the typical bartender. Recommend this place, especially since Roswell has turned into a bit of a hotbed.“

“Great liitle taproom in a nice suberb outside of Atlanta. Plenty of seating indoors and outside, though a pretty small parking area. It was very busy when we visited and we ended up parking in a parking lot around the block. The beers here were all very good with a good variety - heavy on IPAs and goses. They do not have food, but we brought some take out in with us and had dinner while trying some great beers. Highly recommended.“

“Small tasting room in a really cool space but a bit loud and echoey. Large and really varied selection and pretty good prices for the type of beer. No food but they allow you to bring stuff in. The beer is excellent. One of the must visit breweries in metro Atlanta.“

“Love this relatively new brewery in Roswell (opened in 2017 I think). Nice setup in higher ceiling steel and cinderblock warehouse buildings. The taproom is attractive with a very nice bar and seating area...plus an out building that's also available to sit in...but that looks like is rented out for private gatherings too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had "18" beers on draft at reasonable prices. Beers were good to very good...and for a relatively new brewery...showed promise for getting even better. There were a couple of good single and double IPA's as well as a Mosaic session pale ale. I also like the double tropical island-style stout and the rye whiskey barrel-aged porter. I look forward to returning soon to see how they are growing and improving.“

“The vibe at this place is good, the staff is friendly. Reasonable accessibility and parking - for Atlanta. The beer is mediocre at best, and often critically flawed - diacetyl and phenolic - the vibe is too big for the brewing britches. Sorry, but sic. I ordered the salmon BLT - the salmon was turned and the pork belly was flabby. Apps that I had - including the deviled eggs - were good. That said, the rest of my posse really liked their food so hopefully that's just my experience.“

“Interior is a hybrid between a growler store and a bar. They have plenty of seating, and a variety of seats and tables, as well as a bar, so you can plop yourself where you like. Selection is strictly craft brews and imports - no mega-brewed slop here! Food is passable, more like snacks to accompany the beer. Servers are very helpful and make you feel welcome. This would be a great place for a laid-back Meetup.“

“Though this is a new place, it does not have a sterile atmosphere - you get the impression they have been here a while. Beers range from good to outstanding - the Cosmonaut Stout is a must! Food is quite good, and reasonably priced. Servers are alert, helpful and efficient. Give this place a fair chance because they deserve it.“

“This brand-new brewery has a high-ceilinged tasting room that can accommodate a fair crowd. Servers are quick and efficient, but welcoming and friendly. Beers here are so far, so good. No food, but you can get something from a nearby pizza joint. Recommended for a beer-related gathering.“

“In the heart of the downtown Roswell business district. Nicely renovated old car garage with a big bar with stools, a bunch of beer hall style tables, and some fun games. Staff was enthusiastic and super knowledgeable about their beer and history. Good selection with a wide spectrum of beers to choose from. Worth a stop, especially once the laws change in a few months.“

“Gate City Brewery is located in a warehouse that bookends the strip in downtown Roswell. The beer selection includes a number of lagers, including a Baltic porter that is highly recommended. Other beers that night included a Berliner and three different IPAs. The beers are well-made (their quality has been steadily rising and now is top-notch). Your typical games are available. The seats a picnic tables. And the staff is enthusiastic.“

“Your typical microbrewery in an industrial area - a fun place with games and plenty of benches where you can sit and enjoy. You can get the usual six tickets for $15 or $20 depending on the glass you want. Their beers are good, and their personnel really know their salad (OK, their beer) and make you feel most welcome. Recommended if you live anywhere in Atlanta or even if you are just visiting. Dang, Atlanta is turning into a beer destination!“

“Interior has plenty of seating at booths, tables and the bar. It is open, yet has a cozy feel. Beer selection is pretty good, and waitstaff are alert and helpful. Food is what you expect at a TM. Plenty of TVs with games on, but not too loud. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.“

“Small space on the main row of restaurants in downtown Roswell. Trendy feel, weathered, and familiar. Due to the event, the bartender was horribly overworked, but he managed to keep up. Not an extensive tap list, but quality, and full of locals. This is a fun place. I’ll have to return, when it’s not packed to overflowing.“

“Let me preface this rating by saying that when I went it was Alive After 5 in Roswell. Which means busy as shit! Nice bottle list, small but thoughtful taps that are local heavy. Service could’ve been better but it was really slammed when I was there.“

“Roswell location of this Atlanta chain. Great beer selection. Good wings and bar food. Most bartenders are very knowledgeable, others are not. Brewniversity program (loyalty and beer tracking) is a perk. Not the coolest beer bar in Atlanta, but excellent for the burbs.“

Roswell Beverage (Beer Store)

“Mostly geared toward wine and liquor. The back wall and cooler cases were dedicated to beer. They don’t have a ton of beer, but they do have a decent selection of craft beers. Greeted me when I walked in and was pleasant enough when I checked out, but otherwise service was non-existent. Will definitely do in a pinch, but not worth making a special trip for.“

“Crowded and noisy, it has the feel of a loved neighborhood bar. Parking is exiguous, so I recommend taking MARTA - besides, then the bestriped buses can be your designated driver. Service is good, though there can be a wait if they’re busy. Most of their beers are craft brews, and they have some good locals. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. If you’re not afraid of a little noise and like a cozy bar, this is a good place to down a brewski or three.“

“Very nice little restaurant in downtown Roswell. The brick and rough wood decor is well done. The service was friendly and prompt, but seems a little oblivious about the beer, which is understandable, given the selection. Upscale selection of standard craft beers. Not even anything local on tap, but they waste 3 taps on Newcastle, Guinness, and Stella. At least they bury the BMC at the bottom of the bottle list. The food was excellent, though. Worth a visit for that alone. Overall, this is a nice, trendy restaurant, that happens to have a mediocre beer list.“

“Good selection of beer at the back of the store, and a full wall of refrigerated bombers, tall boys, and cases of the macro stuff. The craft brews at the back were poorly organized, overpriced, and most had been gathering dust for several months, at least. Staff was friendly, but spent the entire time behind the counter at the front. Nice selection of whiskey, however. Stop by if you are driving past, but don’t bother going out of your way.“

Roswell Beverage (Beer Store)

“A large liquor store with a fair selection of beer tucked away in the back. The racks and piles of beer look disorganized and untended. The one employee on the floor was very friendly, although not particularly knowledgeable. The selection is wide and includes several brewers I’ve never seen before in Georgia. The prices are fair. Overall, this isn’t a beer store, but you could do much worse.“

“This place sometimes has some great beer finds. They usually have Bell’s expedition stout for example, sure it is $18 a sixer, but thats what it costs. Other than that most of the stuff is priced through the roof. I live very near this place, but I prefer to driver further to Total Wine - Alpharetta.“

“This store is geared more towards wine and hard liquor than beer, but they do have an impressive selection of micros and imports. There is a special section for singletons if you want to try one bottle rather than taking a risk on a six-pack. Other stores may have a better beer selection, but they have quite a variety - a lot more craft brew than mega brew, and an emphasis on "specialty" beer. Worth a visit if you are in the north side of Atlanta’s gravitational field.“
