18 /100 Mellow Mushroom - Eagles Landing (Restaurant) 1410 HUDSON BRIDGE RD Visited here in late February ’16 for a Sunday lunch. Typical Mellow Mushroom as far as the food goes, decent pizza, salad and sandwiches. Selection of beer was lacking compared to most Mellow Mushrooms, only about a half dozen regionals. Absolutely horrible service. I actually left after 20 minutes having only received a menu while sitting at the bar. |
66 /100 Eagle’s Landing Bottle Shop (Beer Store) 100 EAGLES LANDING PKWY Visited here many times since since I have been rating must not have had "Places" in place last time I was here. Used to be a regular stop on my way into Atlanta. Large, clean, airy suburban liquor store that has a decent selection of regional, national and import selections. Very small area devoted to singles, mainly miscellaneous bombers and off-size imports. Do not have the typical mix your own sixers. If you are taking the back way into Atlanta or I-75 is a parking lot, stop on in. |
98 /100 Eagle’s Landing Bottle Shop (Beer Store) 100 EAGLES LANDING PKWY they blow the doors off anyone , let’s start with 30 doors full of any kind of beer you want , COLD beer ,the best thing south of Atlanta |
68 /100 Mellow Mushroom - Eagles Landing (Restaurant) 1410 HUDSON BRIDGE RD Interior is open, yet somehow cozy. Bar has plenty of seating. Oldies station is set at a reasonable level. Service is friendly, welcoming and helpful, if not the swiftest OTP. Food is Mellow Mushroom typical, as in tasty and very enjoyable - try their mushroom soup sometime! Worth a visit, or several, if you are on this end of town. |
86 /100 The Bridge Grill (Restaurant) 1481 HUDSON BRIDGE RD, STE B A really fun place for good food, craft beer, and service. Open mic night on Wednesday with some pretty accomplished local talent. Thursday is Trivia. Friday often has live entertainment. In addition for the raw oysters, their peel n’ eat shrimp is delicious. Make sure you order the sweet chili wings, too! |
64 /100 Eagle’s Landing Bottle Shop (Beer Store) 100 EAGLES LANDING PKWY I’m only reviewing on Craft Beer only. One of the largest stores in Henry County, but a small Craft Beer selection. |
20 /100 Taco Mac - Stockbridge (Bar) 3682 HWY 138 SE I am adding this place to somebody else the trip to this place. Located in shopping area off the interstate. White trash smoking outside with there kids was the first sign I should have walked away. Next was the smell of the place which was horrible. Then there was the guy telling me I had to pay $5 cover to watch some band which I had no intention of wanting to sit through and him not letting me proceed to the bar where I simply wanted to have a been and watch the final four. I asked him if I could simply go to bar to get a quick beer and some food and he gave me the old "sorry bro" with the cigarette hanging our of his mouth. I simply decided at that point to drive 20+ miles into ATL instead of giving this shit hole a dime. No wonder it is not even listed on the Taco Mac website. |
74 /100 Eagle’s Landing Bottle Shop (Beer Store) 100 EAGLES LANDING PKWY Pretty good beer selection. They will order anything they can get from their distributor for you, all you have to do is ask. |
56 /100 138 Package Store (Beer Store) 1028 HIGHWAY 138 WEST A decent wall of brews. They don’t sell singles. Nothing special, but it’s got all the Atlanta regionals - Sweetwater, Red Brick, Highland. It’s just a short jaunt off I75, so if you were driving from up north, then it might be worth stopping. I picked up the Thomas Hooker MixPack. |
