“Grand looking old building that looks more like the entrance to an old manor or castle than a town centre pub. Located right in the centre of Glastonbury with some features dating back to the 1400s, and certainly looks like it's been around a fair while. Inside there's a multitude of rooms and dining areas with a long corridor running through the middle of the building right to an outside seating area at the back, though we didn't really explore much beyond the main bar immediately to your left on entering. This entire room has a genuinely authentic medieval feel about it, with ornate old windows, seating and wall decorations that would appeal to fans of Game of Thrones. Expect around 5 real ales, some from Bristol Beer Co, some St Austell, plus 3 box ciders from Millwhites and another I can't recall. Could easily spend an hour or two in here absorbing the atmosphere.“
