“Atmospheric little pub with charm oozing from every piece of obscure historic ephemera that adorns the walls and ceiling of this place. Clearly if walls could talk it'd be singing some kind of local drinking song, drunk on the huge range of cider being served here. 30 + boxes on sale at any one time, which has helped it earn the accolade of CAMRA Somerset Cider Pub of the Year five years running. A few beers as well, and it seemed those present favoured Carling or Guiness, but enough must drink the apples to warrant such a huge range. Lots of local producers, such as Secret Orchard, Watchet Cider Co and Uncle Dicks, mostly pure fruit scrumpy. No self-respecting ciderhead should give this a miss when in the area. Also dog friendly and food can be brought in from the neighbouring chip shop.“
