“This is a place I have been meaning to get to. At one point it had a rep as one of few independent pubs in the area that had a good array of local cask and apparently did a great roast on a Sunday. However I suspect it may be a victim of Covid. Mainly macro lagersm, cider and faux craft. Only two casks out of a possible five were on - a Titsey beer and Doom Bar. One Titsey beer on keg. So a pretty boring array and it was a Friday evening. Food seemingly no longer served. The decor is quite sparse - cost-cutting passed off as modern. A fair spattering of locals. Generally seemed to be a pub that had seen better days.“

“Smallish corner local with a big atmosphere. Yes, there are odd opening hours, but once in the feeling is warm and welcoming. Just off the main shopping area in Chertsey, it is the only game in town really for choice of beer. It has 2 fixed beers seemingly, which are not of great interest, but also 2 rotating guests, if unfortunately are LocAle. The food looks to be good value, the pub welcomes both Children and Dogs during the day. If you are in the locality then it is worth a look.“
