“Quick pre-train visit whilst in town. Very close to the station. Not exactly a beer destination. Only 2 of 4 cask ales on (both Greene King, though one I'd not seen before which I chose and it was actually quite enjoyable). About 10 other taps, and a dozen or so bottles, all mainstream. Service was friendly. CAMRA 10% discount, the prices were pretty good even before that was applied. Overall it was a pleasant way to spend half an hour rather than wait on the platform...“

“Visited with my friend Olly West during my beer holiday in August 2014. According to Olly there are basically just three places in Haywards Heath where you can get at least half a decent beer and this is one of em. All three places are within walking distance from the train station and located on one of the main roads if I remember correctly. Now there’s not a lot of beers to choose from, but I managed to find some beers that were new for me. I had a Dark Star Sunburst from cask which was pretty useful. As was the waitress’ bosom. It’s not worth a detour (well the view of the waitress’ bosom actually was) but if you happen to be in the town then at least you know you can get a decent beer here.“

It’s not worth a detour, but if you happen to be in the town then at least you know you can get a beer here.“

According to Olly there are basically just three places in Haywards Heath where you can get at least half a decent beer and this is one of em. Now there’s not a lot to choose from, but I managed to find some beers that were new for me. It’s also really close to the station, so if you ever happen to be waiting for a delayed train you can always quickly grab a pint here.“
