| 58 /100 Cross Keys (Bar) 3 WHITE GATE “On a hill rising up from Halifax on its easter side, this hostelry is where the suburb of Cross Keys begins, it's not too far to walk from the town, and there's a small road across from the pub that leads down to the river where the Shears Inn is situated, no more than 100 metres below this pub. Traditional and open plan, the bar is situated to the left of the central doorway, with a few seats in front of it, and the lion share of these are to the right of the door. There's a focus on cask ale here with a long row of cask ales taking up most of the serving space, with a couple of seasonal and special brews probably amongst more regularly seen ones from the local area.“ |
