“Visitied as part of their Winter Ales Festival; decent sized tap room and brewery with a bar dominating the first room. Decent selection of beers on for the festival in both cask and keg plus a nice smattering of their own brews. Easy to reach by bus or rail (Rowley Regis being the nearest stop).“

“what a refreshing change this Wetherspoon bar is. Small enough to feel like a local pub, friendly staff and the beer variety is amazing. 3 regular ales being Abbot, Doom Bar and Exmoor Gold, then 7 changing guest ales from Woods, Castle Rock, Wolf, Boss, Adnams, Robinsons and Slaters and all of them on too. Enjoyed 4 well kept ales from the list. Deserves it's place in the 2019 Good Beer Guide.“

“Excellent Tap Room recently expanded into the unit next door so theres now a lot more space. Full selection of Fixed Wheel beers on tap, cask and bottle. Regular beer festivals. A short walk from Blackheath town centre. From Birmingham the 140 & 129 stop nearly outside.“

“The tap room of the Fixed Wheel Brewery located in the brewery itself. They only open on Friday and Saturdays where they serve up to eight keg and three cask ales of mainly Fixed Wheel brews and some guests. There is usually a decent Fixed Wheel bottle selection too. Not so easy to find in a small industrial estate but Google will take you to within 100m of the place. Good friendly service. Worth a trip out from Birmingham. Realistically you can only reach this place by car. Cash and now cards are accepted too.“

“Wetherspoon pub with a local feel. There are two rows of real ale pumps and plenty of places to sit. Eating is popular, as the pub at most times as families often frequent during the daytime hours. There’s a small garden area out back. Traditional soft furnishings.“

“Ten cask ales available. One of the more rougher Weatherspoons enough variety to keep me there for a night“
