58 /100 STOCKCLOSE FARM
“I visited here last autumn (about Oct 2017) en route to Swindon from Marlborough. Its off the main drag and as the address suggests its actually on a farm estate. However it is well signposted off of the main A346. However what does baffle me is that the postcode shows the address as being to the right of the A346 when traveling towards Swindon in a northerly direction on Google Maps and that is also where Aldbourne is, but to the best of my knowledge you turn left off of that road so I am a little confused, suffice to say just follow the brown brewery barrel signs and you'll get there.

Whilst it is advertised as being open, as it is a bit off the beaten track I had to ring the bell to be let in. Inside it is quite a smart place, the Ramsbury Estate don't appear to be short of a few bob. I think that the brewery was around the back and I think that you can do tours. There wasn't a big selection of beers, just their own and mainly core range with a couple of specials, but the prices were reasonable. They also sell smoked fish, meat etc and make their own gin made from grain from the estate. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to go here, but if you had a little time to kill and were travelling this way and hadn't tried many of their beers then it is worth popping by. “
