62 /100 Camp House Inn (Bar) CAMP LANE A lovely old fashion British pub with different rooms and a small servery in the middle. Bric-a-brac decor. Three cask ales, mainstream lagers and a few ciders. Sandwich options. Large, beautiful outdoor space by the riverside, very idyllically in the summertime with all kinds of birds walking around; swans, colourful peacocks, hens, and others. Polite service. We walked all the way from Worcester along the river, a little more than one hour each way. (Visited with Bjørg, Richard and Frau Eva 29.06.2019). |
74 /100 Camp House Inn (Bar) CAMP LANE This is another river Severn pub which I would love to visit on a warm summer afternoon rather than last port of call on a wet March evening, but it was a friendly welcoming pub serving ever popular Bathams Bitter and Woodforde's Nice Try. It is a listed building and is subject to flooding from the river, but well worth seeking out. Very dod friendly and a good atmosphere with the locals. Loved the open log fire which the dogs made themselves at home in front of. |
