70 /100 Clive’s Fruit Farm (Grocery Store) UPPER HOOK ROAD Visited 10/3/2023. Nice rural farm shop with own produced ciders and juices plus a selection of beers from local breweries. Well worth checking out if in area. |
66 /100 Warner’s Supermarkets (Grocery Store) HANLEY ROAD Visited 10/3/2023. Nice supermarket (as supermarkets go) with decent range of local beers and ciders. Worth a stop if in area (but after Clive’s I’d suggest) |
68 /100 Clive’s Fruit Farm (Grocery Store) UPPER HOOK ROAD Decent sized farm store with three of their own ciders/perries on bottle at our visit. In addition they had a nice selection of other local ciders and beers. Good place for local ticks. |
60 /100 Warner’s Supermarkets (Grocery Store) HANLEY ROAD Nice selection of local beers and ciders. I walked away with seven new Worcestershire ticks. Worth a stop if you’re looking for local ticks. |
46 /100 Little Upton Muggery (Bar) 58 OLD STREET I returned to this pub after many years and I just wonder if the management company has changed as the beer range was pretty poor on this visit compared to what I recall. The pub is the same inside with the roof space filled with a massive mug collection. The atmosphere was very quiet, shame really, if there is a better range of beers then you get more footfall, proven. |
66 /100 Warner’s Supermarkets (Grocery Store) HANLEY ROAD Happened on here when I was running out of petrol. It is a petrol station as well as farm supplies shop. They had a big range of regional beer, and cider. Worth a stop. Even if you don’t need petrol! |
