Inside is the staid barroom of a bygone era, nearly Oberpfalz-style: Stammtisch, older gents, the odd family and kids. Sadly no Kräusen or Heimatbier on tap, only Pils, Export, Weisse. Brewery's Getränkemarkt/bottleshop selling their full range at the same, if not elevated prices compared to supermarkets in the area and Freiburg. Special bottlings include €6,50/2L fliptop bottles of their excellent Kräusenpils and and expensive large 3L Löwen-Weisse. 33cl bottles of Heimatbier, a Spalt&Tettnang dryhopped Hopfenweisse of sorts on rare offer. Friendly service by the breweryowner behind the till this FRI, but it's clear they only sell what's in local demand. - The brewery's slowly vegetating Ausschank is around the corner.“ |
