“Classic and nicely decorated brewpub in the centre of Ludwigsburg, not far from the market square. 4 beers available, 3 of which on tap and the IPA bottled. Friendly staff. Worth a visit if you are in the area.“

“Uriges Brauhaus.

“The brewpub has got a nice outside section as well as a comfy inside. There were 4 different beers available, food was ok. Service fast and nice. Worth a visit once you are in the area.“

“The brewpub is located close to the train station and easy to find. The inside is rather rural and old fashioned, staff really nice and fast. Selection was rather small, they only had two taps available at my visit. Beer drinkable, yet nothing special. Good for a one time visit when you are around, not a must visit.“

“Visited April 2018, had heard that Brewing had ceased here & when staff were asked if beer was brewed on site they just said it was brewed to there own recipe, brewing kettles still in situ“

“Traditional beer tavern. A lot of beer artifacts (coasters, glasses, barrels, etc. on display all over the place). Good food & service. 4 local brews, though expectedly traditional are a better option in comparison to other brewery in the city.“

“Brauhaus am Bahnhof. Nicht bedonders gemütlich. Nur 2 Biere vom Fass. Saisonbier gab es nicht. Keinen Ausflug wert.“

“Visited on 13th July 2016. About a 10 mins walk from the station at the edge of town. This is a nice looking venue. Blue flags guide you in, up a set of stairs. We went to the bar area but there are a lot more rooms. Decor is nice with lots of dark wood and a lot of beer bottles and brewania adorning the walls. 2 standard beers on tap and no seasonal but also a bottle of IPA available. Service and prices good. Beer ok with the IPA the highlight. Staff friendly. Nice place“

“Visited on 13th July 2016. Across the road from the station and down a set of steps in a nice square this is a modern looking place. Inside was packed and warm. Appeared to be a single room with lots of wood. We opted for beer garden which had lots of bench style seating covered by trees. 3 beers on menu but the Alt was off. 2 decent Fass offerings. Service good. Prices a little more expensive. Decent place with decent beer.“

“Formerly the Sudhaus, across from the train station. Sat in the beer garden and munched on fresh pretzels with my son. I remember an OK Altbier but I preferred the bitterish, moreish, full-flavored, unfiltered Helles. Nice little place, nice beers, convenient spot.“

“Nice brewpub with nice garden to sit in. A lot of people even on a tuesday. Schnitzel was great! Had their altbier which was really nice. Staff spoke english without any problem. If only I had known german, I’d sit alone for a maximum of 10 minutes, the people there (guests) are so open and friendly!!“

Visited July 2010
Strange building, from the outside it doesn’t even look like a brewery; in the summer they lay some tables in the square, quite far away, so the feeling is kind of weird. The Urhell is very decent. Food as usual is very average.“

“Part of the Great Stuttgarter Beer Raid 2011. This place has changed owners and names a couple of times in the last 25 years or so. This time it was for the better. It has some huge TV screens that at are great for sports. The place is clean modern and very nice. Service is very good as well. The patio is hiden as well as place itself. The beers are Top Class!!“

“Rossknects main brewpub (the others have since closed). A nice freindly place with great service. The have two primary beers. Helles and Weizen. With six seasonals Faschingsbier Maibock Rothbier Schwarzbier Rauchbier and St. Martins Bock. Overall the food is great and the beer very fresh. It has grow over the last 25 or so years. I always stop by here when in town. “

“A very cozy brewpub with low ceilings and throw pillows on the dark wood benches. Very friendly staff. The food looked amazing, but we didn’t get to try it. Maybe next time. IMO, the beers were superior to the Sudhaus by the train station, just by a nose. The Urhell unfiltered pils was cloudy, bitter and full of flavor. Recommended.“
