66 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) Rather large, classic Brauhaus with loods of wood and visible brewing equipment. Three beers on tap (also ready for takeaway in 1 l growlers): Pils, Weizen and seasonal. Food is classic as well, had some hearty "Maultaschen" which were tasty but nothing extra-ordinary. Prices are reasonable, service is very attentive and friendly. A good stop for combining some food with solid beers. |
68 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) Rather big place with very beautiful biergarten. Though very typical for a German brewery it was very nice inside. 3 local beers didn't disappoint either with Weizen being my top choice. |
60 /100 KAISERSTRASSE 65 PIls & rauch-bier. Later being by far the best option, though it was a seasonal (total of 12 seasonals through out the year). |
70 /100 Streb Getränkecenter (Beer Store) GUTENBERGSTRASSE 5 Gut sortierter Getränkemarkt mit einer großen Auswahl an überregionalen und regionalen Bierspezialitäten. Im Trend-Shop-Bereich findet man einige deutsche Craft-Biere (u.a. Camba Bavaria, Alpirsbacher Ambrosius, Mashsee, Schoppe Bräu, Kehrwieder) und internationale Biere (u.a. BrewAge, Greene King, Samuel Smith, Belhaven, Innis&Gunn) |
36 /100 KAISERSTRASSE 65 Small place, trying for modern decor. Tiny bar with four seats and a few tables. Staff was nice enough. One beer, and you’ll never guess what kind. |
52 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) This is a large place but still manages to be cozy. Brewhouse is visible in the corner. Spacious outdoor patio. But at this point in the crawl we were starting to get a bit tired of the selection: "pils oder weizen, maibock ist aus." |
42 /100 KAISERSTRASSE 65 The brewing activity started in May 2010 in this ghasthaus. After 4 month, only the Pils was available (maybe a Festbier in October), full of diacetyl. The stube is quite sad, really looking like an old place for old people. Well, I hope the brewing technique will improve, as well as the beer quality. |
62 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) This is the location where beers are really brewed; it’s a large building, but the lower ceilings, the warm timber covering and beams, the split in different rooms make of this place a comfortable one; they also have a quite large external area. The beers available are only two, but both recommended. The menu card is similar to most brauhaus, with a couple of items more. Good place. |
52 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) Very spacious place with an Oktoberfest-like athmosphere. Wooden tables. Efficient service. Functional. |
66 /100 MILITAERSTRASSE 2 (ENTRY VIA LUETZOWERSTRASSE) A big restaurant in Rastatt, good food with german specialities as well as Alsatian ones. Beer are on tap only, so only seasonal beer are provided, unfortunately it is then not possible to get all kind of beers. If you go there during the week-end you need to book before. |
