66 /100 Brauereigasthof Zum Pflug (Restaurant) TUTTLINGER STRAßE 26 Restaurant in beautiful historic buildings, including a histroic banquet hall. Lovely old-fashioned interieur. The former Pflug brewery used to be next door but has been demolished a couple of years ago. But you can still taste their beer here, now brewed by Hirsch in Wurmlingen, to the original recipe. Food is classic Swabian cuisine, prepared with knowledge and love, very very tasty. Staff are kind and friendly. Worth a visit more for the food and ambiance rather than for their one special beer. |
64 /100 ESCHACHSTRASSE 15 Very comfy village tavern. Helles & Weizen were in great form. Good place for a stop. |
22 /100 Brauereigasthof Zum Pflug (Restaurant) TUTTLINGER STRAßE 26 Visited July 2010 I will just mention the ugliness of the place and the ugliness of the dog-faced older waitress. |
52 /100 ESCHACHSTRASSE 15 Visited July 2010 It’s an old and old style village restaurant (seit 1793), a bit claustrophobic. Not much English spoken, but nice service received. They have only 2 beers, the Weizen is ok, the Spezial is below average; Bock beers brewed in different times of the year. The menu is not very extensive; but I tried the (boiled) bratwurst, produced by the nearby metzgerei, and they were among the best boiled sausages I ever tried. |
56 /100 ESCHACHSTRASSE 15 Classic Swabian rural food, only 5 warm dishes, snacks. Always 2 beers on tap. They always have Flözlinger Spezial and one seasonal that changes (e.g. Bockbier, Weizenbier, Christmas beer). |
