“The Gaststätte is right next to the brewery on top of the hill in Altenmarkt. The inner courtyard surrounded by whitewashed buildings was too bright for us on a hot summer's day so we opted to relax on the slightly shadier terrace. Four beers on tap, a Helles, a Dunkles, a Festbier and a Weißbier, all unfiltered, all delicious. The menu looked good but we weren't quite ready to eat yet. Slightly clueless yet friendly waitress. A great place to refuel after cycling up the hill.“
