“Came by here by accident. Looks more normal than the average new modern brewery. No brewing equipment in sight and the walls don't explain the different beer styles. Just the lamps look like hop flowers :) The styles available are very traditional (traditional lager and Weizen). Seems like the locals are not ready for IPA?! I had the Märzen which was not great not terrible and definitely filtered. Nice outside seating and staff is friendly and not in a hurty. Alright.“

“We were staying in Lenggrieser Mountain Camping, Lenngries over the weekend of Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July and cycled to Bad Tölz on Saturday 27th. Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu ist quite easy to find if you think of the river as the bottom end of town make your way up the incline of the main street shopping street 'Gaißacher' then turn onto Bahnhofstraße and it is along here. The weather was good, however it changed for the worse later on our cycle ride back to the campsite We sat outside in a small patio area to the rear, there were a couple of family groups and a young couple already sat out here. Inside it seemed quite modern, I never looked around the place in much detail, but I did see the bar, a beer fridge to the side and seating inside. We ate here also, the beer and food was good, in fact we ended up having a couple of beers and they were very good. When I was inside I had looked in the fridges in the hope that some seasonally rarity or limited edition offering might be available to take away but alas there was nothing. We really liked this place and would certainly return here if in the vicinity. “

“Small modern place, small terrace on your left with both an enclosed and an outdoor portion (closed in winter when we visited). On your right is a small bar (just four seats), three high bar tables, and then some restaurant tables with a view through glass into the brewhouse. They had the usual helles-dunkel-weissbier combo that seemingly just about every brewpub in Germany has, plus a fairly tasty IPA and a stout in bottles. The h-d-w combo was available in bottles too. Staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. Worth a stop in in the area, i.e. heading to/from Garmisch, etc.“
