| 52 /100 ECK 1 “We visited here Saturday 25th February 2023 after a circular hike near Böbrach. This is just a km or two outside Böbrach and it's next to a Museum for a local spirits company Einniger? It's a large building, I suspect that the brewery is housed in one of the many outbuildings. We arrived around lunchtime and had something to eat, something got lost in translation though and what we assumed was going to be a Gulasch Suppe (we'd enquired about the soup) turned out to be a larger meal of Gulasch and Spatzle. They only had a Helles on tap and their Dunkel in bottle to drink in or take away. The atmosphere was pleasant, it's a nice place inside, very traditional and the Helles fine, I'm not sure that I'd go out of my way to revisit but if you're close by and wish to try some local beer then it's probably worth a stop off.“ |

| 66 /100 ECK 1 “A few metres south-west of Böbrach You’ll find in the hamlet of Eck this "beery complex": brewery, brewery-shop, hotel, pub (several "bavarian" rooms, as expected), beergarden under a huge lime-tree and a - yes - Schnapsmuseum. Three beers are available, completed by two seasonals. Recommended!“ |
