“We visited here December 24th 2022 after a very short 10-15 minute train journey on the Forest train that had stop close to our apartment in Langdorf. This place is located opposite the train station and close to a REWE or Edeka, I forget which. It was busy when we arrived but we managed to snag a couple of places close to the door. The service was a little abrupt and attitude close to being rude, not necessarily to us but to others. We ordered a Hefe Weisse and a Weihnachtsbock both good without really setting the world alight. I think that they need more staff, it was busy with folks eating and seemed more geared to this than beer. It was an ok place but I am not sure that we'd rush back.“

“Decent drinks market just outside the center of Bodenmais. Cheap, lots of regional beers available, next to the usual suspects. Don’t expect service, just get your beers and pay them. I could easily fill a crate with unrated local brews, and I did. 17 beers for 13 euros.“

“Good place to visit in Bodenmais. Friendly service, decent beers, good no nonsense food, not too expensive and a rambling WiFi, hard to find in these fairly remote areas. Worth a visit.“

“Kleine brouwerij met ernaast groot hotel en restaurant, tevens kleine winkel voor verkoop. Alle eigen bieren van de tap beschikbaar alsmede een paar andere. Service was OK. Eten is typisch Beiers, lekker, goed en meer dan voldoende.“

“There is a shop next to the restaurant where you can buy 4 different beers in bottles. I planned to eat here, but since there was no non-smokers area and staff very rather unfriendly and uncooperative I decided to go to the brewery in the next village to eat (Böbrach-Eck). However, staff at the shop were very friendly, and the beer is very good.“
