“We visited here Sunday 25th October following a 28km cycle ride from home. Ok advice on getting here, I would suggest making your own way as we did using car, bike or even a nice from Erding, because it is really not going to be so easy to get here via public transport. The options are S1 to Munich Airport or S2 to Erding and then a bus, however it appears that the bus service is in limbo at this time, so best to check nearer the time or alternatively a taxi from either as this place is about 7-8km north of Erding and 13-15km east of the airport. It is reasonably central in this village and sits across from a church on St Georg Str. It was a lovely day so with the current Covid-19 problems still in place we chose to sit outside. However I did go in to order, to use their facilities and to pay and it's a nice, simple restaurant, small to medium size, I guess it would seat about 40-50 people *actually just checked and it is 50, with some outdoor seating for a further 25. The décor is traditional, so plenty of wood, tiled floors and traditional Bavarian dress for staff. The staff were really pleasant and served us swiftly and I felt that all Covid-19 rules and regulations were very well adhered to. It wasn't busy, however there were a few people eating and a similar amount like us just here for a drink. We had a seasonal Kirta beer and a Hefe-Weisse, I thought that the beers were very pleasant, we enjoyed them. If in the area I would certainly recommend this place for a visit, it ticks all of the right boxes.“
