“Nice pub/restaurant next to the brewery, opposite the Schloss (join a tour if you have the time). Good food, very good value and all the beers from the Fürstliches Brauhaus. The Schloss is owned by the state of Bavaria nowadays, but the brewery is still in the hands of the von Wrede family. The opposite side of the building houses a shop where you can buy the beers. The town itself is worth a look as well, as is the Schlosspark. Ellingen railway station is about 10-15 min. walking.“

“Baroque architecture and good beer are waiting for You in the small town of Ellingen; the cozy Bräustüberl of the Fürst-Carl Brauerei is located in one wing of working quarters, facing the great and famous Deutschordensschloss, separated by a cobbled street. The relatively small pub offers most of the brewery’s beers plus the unfiltered Zwickel, which is not available in bottles ! If You want to take home some beers, Youcan buy them in the other wing of the building in the brewery-shop. Recommended!“
