72 /100 WEIGLATHAL 1 Great place close to Gradl in Leups. Lovely dunkel served. Nice lunch. Authentic and full of quality. |
70 /100 WEIGLATHAL 1 Nice place with a lot of family lunch business. We had the great, rustic dunkel, and a great goulasch soup. |
62 /100 WEIGLATHAL 1 Traditional franconian half-timbered Gasthaus in a little hamlet in the middle of nowhere, but close to the A 9 motorway...
The cozy interior is dominated by - as expected - wood: wooden ceiling, wooden tables and chairs and half-pannelled walls... All in all a pretty authentic franconian pub with also many tables and parasols outside on a kind of village square. One dark house-beer is served, contract brewed by Simon/Lauf, but - that’s what they claim on their web-site - fermented and lagered on the premises.
A visit to this unspoilt spot can be easily combined with a vist to the breweries Kürzdörfer and Stöckel in the neighbourhood. Recommended... |
