“Interesting old brewery (it should be technical monument) with very nice, lovely decorating pub. Beers were OK, not a service. Everything seemed to be a problem (well, my German is poor and the staff wasn’t English speeking, it was one of point: unwillingness to communicate...). So, great building, but very bad impression.“

“We came here 1.10.2016. Bäustübel attached to the brewery wich was founded in 1556. Very nice wooden interior decorated with dried hop umbels and historic pictures of the brewery. Beers are typical for the region: Kellerbier (unfiltered lager), Weissbier and dark and pale lager beers. All beers were very clean and quite tasty. Service was typical Bavarian, not too friendly but ok. Food was inexpensive, typical Bavarian and really good. We had dumplings with mushrooms and a fried spleen sausage. Overall a quite good brew pub.“

“Visited 18 aug 2016 Small brewery with nice restaurant in Bavarian style. Four taps plus few low alcohols, mostly average beers. Usual Bavarian prices. Very slow service, intolerant toward beergeeks; till now this is the only place, where my own tasting glass was unsolvable problem. Well, almost everything was problem...“

“Visited on the morning of 17/07/12 and worked my way through most of the beers available, all brewed on site. 2 rooms, typical german style with wooden tables and chairs, not too much clutter. The brewery is right at the back and you see it if you head to the downstairs tollet. Very quiet to start with but once the clock turned 12 it got very busy I’d presumed they were brewery staff but our friendly waitress who was first class, informed us they were simply local workers. Decent enough beers, friendly and efficient service, would happily head back here!“
