“Really small but cozy place with a nice "patio". 3 local beers on tap (Elch, Orca and Schanzenbraü), and a fridge full of bottles. Smart staff, no nonsens like 5 different craftbeers glasse...traditional ones. Was a very funny evening.“

“True! like DrNosha said: this is not the place for beer (4 on Tap, about 10 Bottles). Mostly standard beers like Tucher and Lederer on tap, but also some saisonal and limited beers. The best are the Nürnberger Bratwürste: grilled, smoked, and cooked in an onion-vinegar boiling (Blaue Zipfel). Taste them all!“

“5 to 10 min walk from the main train station, this beer store has a lot! of different breweries and beers available. Definitely deserves a few visits if your space is limited. Plus, the service was fast and the stuff very helpful.“

“Stunning. Local brewpub. Friendly and welcoming waitors and locals. We came here twice on our visit. Beers by far the best we had in Nürnberg. Pils, Schwarzbier and sommerbier in prime condition. Great food! A must if in Nürnberg.“

“A 5 beer Flight with clean and interesting beers. Schwarzbier and Rotbier were top notch. The helles/pils was a diacetyl bomb in their cafe but cleaner here. Excellent food. Great sausages and friendly service.“

“Typical slightly overpriced selection where you can be lucky to find beers from some of the smaller breweries around. Landbierparadies is another level.“

“6 taps with decent offerings. Nothing from the top franconia shelf on my visit though. Easy stop close to the other good spots in Nurnberg.“

“Small yet cozy. Outdoor seating view is stunning. On my visit they had hell und dunkel from Nikl Brau. Not in top condition but decent. Rotating taps of interesting quality brews from Franconia. Elch Brau, Knoblach, etc. in bottles.“

“Enormous selection. I may have pulled 80 ticks from here April 2023. Friendly service. Hot spot in Bavaria for these 1 euro bottle ticks. I managed to exchange 5 empty crates and even got a few free beers .“

“We (Me, Loz, Jude and Baz) visited here Wednesday 15th June 2022. This place is not that far from the railway station, in fact probably one of the first places that you would come to when entering the walled part of the city, it is off to the right on a street which as I recall seemed mostly pedestrianised but don't quote me on that. It was a nice day so we sat outside, however, I did nip into both use their facilities and also for a little nosey around. It seemed quite modern and the general feeling that I got was that the appearance of both staff and place were trying to appeal to a younger perhaps more crafty focussed crowd. The beer was fine but never really going to excite me or make me long for a return visit. The staff were very good though, attentive, and offered good service throughout. Prices were also pretty good, all in all it is a pleasant enough place, I just wish it would offer a little more wow factor with the beers.“

“Cozy "old style" brew pub. Brewing on premises and has a selection of house made whiskies. Tried "Rot Bier". Was a solid Marzen/Vienna style. Close to several other solid beer places in town“

“Very small tap room tucked into castle wall. 2-3 small Franconia brews on tap. People sit out on the square around small tables. Chilled out atmosphere“

“We (Me, Loz, Jude and Baz) visited here Thursday 16th June 2022, we'd been to the Franconian Bierfestival where we'd met Jonas, Stefan and Ursula. This place was located a stones throw from our accommodation, so quite central in fact probably only a couple of hundred metres from what would be considered the centre of Nürnberg. We sat outside, it was a pleasantly warm early summer evening, there were a lot of people outside across from us as there were restaurants and just general seating areas nearby. We watched as a couple were setting up some arty photo shots near us. Anyway back to the place, cannot recall exactly what beers we had, think Baz had a Winkler Brau, Loz something by Orca Brau, Jude an Aperol Spritzer and me a Pilsner or Helles I suspect. I only ventured inside briefly to pay but then they came out, it's a nice spot, I think that it'd be cosy inside in the winter months but equally it's great sat outside in the summer.“

“We (Me, Loz, Jude and Baz) dropped by this beer store Thursday 16th June 2022, we'd been to the Franconian Bierfestival where we'd met Jonas, Stefan and Ursula. This is a short walk from the centre, about 1km north east so 10-15 mins maximum, we were heading to a nearby Namaste an Indian Restaurant restaurant at Hirschelgasse 1, just around the corner and for Indian food fans an excellent restaurant btw. This is a great store, for anyone familiar with their stores in München and Bamberg it's not that different, sinple uncluttered appearance, a reasonable offering of local, national and international beers. I think that I would rank the three stores as 1st Bamberg, 2nd Nürnberg then München in 3rd. The staff member was helpful. It was small/mid sized for a beer shop. I wasn't in here long enough to determine where or how it was organised, but there were a few decent local beers, however I picked up a couple of Frau Gruber Imperial Pastry Stouts (I hate the stupid Pastry term) All in all a good store, and worth the short walk from the centre, if you are after some craft offerings.“

“Came here on 15.11.2021. Located in a nice part of Nürnberg very close to the city wall. Quite nice interior with a few walls made of bricks and a narrow but long bar. They have 10 beers on tap, half from their own brewery which is 30 km away and a few nice guest beers e.g. the Go To IPA from Stone and a IPA from Orcabräu a local brewery. Around 30 beers in bottles including a few from the US. Service quite attentive. Was here on a Monday - not too crowded - but seems it is quite packed here later in the week.“

“Interesting restaurant inside the 'Krakauer Haus' with a Polish touch although the menu also features Franconian food and especially beer. Sat outside in the beergarden during a sunny afternoon waiting for my train to arrive at the main station, had enough time to enjoy a Spalter Zwickel on tap. Five other draft beers are available, mostly Franconian lagers. The small bottle list focuses on Franconia as well. Very relaxed atmosphere, solid service, very decent pricing. Is apparently very crowded during the evening, so reservation is recommended. Nice venue!“

“Visited 22.07.21. Large place with plenty of outdoor seating in a quiet part of the city centre. Friendly and efficient service. They have a meny with traditional German food. I had the Nuremberg sausages with potato salad, and that was a very good meal. They have two of their own beers on tap, four other beers on tap and a selection of bottles beers. All are traditional, regional beers.“

“Before leaving Nurnberg we have stopped here to fill our trunk. Medium sized place with bunch of mostly classical German styles from different breweries. Also 3 or 4 fridges with some more special brews. Check out was incredibly fast for our 30 or 40 different beers. Good prices. Certainly worth a visit.“

“Smallish bar close to the historical center. Due to the pandemic measures drinking inside was not possible and the patio in front was full. They had another patio in a park just down the road. Round 50 bottles and some taps. Modern styles from new German breweries like Furst Wiacek and Blech Brut. However the prices are bit on the high side. Worth checking out.“

“Just below the city walls the place was closed for indoor drinking, but had a huge patio on a square. Good for people watching. Solid selection of taps and bottles. Four or five taps with twenty or so bottles. Quality wise wasn't that exciting. Was quite crowded, but with the pandemic measures in place and warm weekend evening that was expected.“

“Fairly large place in town center if you take large patio in account. Traditional wooden interior. Seems to be visited by the locals as well. Decent range of beers, but quality wasn't that good. Food was quite good and portion was huge. Very good service although it was a very budy evening. Good choice for a dinner, but I wouldn't expect too much from the beers.“

“Located close to the imperial palace, just opposite the Hutt'n, this brewerey-distillery-brewpub occupiec a large building with several rooms and a biergarten of a reasonable size. The beers, to-three own on tap, more in bottles to be bought in the shop in location, are acceptable but nothing really special (the schwarzbier is quite good, though). Friendly but busy staff. Fair prices given the location. I might want to come back to try some of their food one day.“
