“Wooden traditional interieur with two big brass brewing tanks. Feels a little more laid back than comparable restaurants in Munich. Two beers on tap (keller and weißbier) and a few for bottle take away at luxury prices. Cozy place to rest after walking your legs off on the mountain ;-)“

“Braugasthof mit Hotel mitten in Oberammergau. 2 eigene, sehr leckere Biere vom Fass. Schöner Biergarten mit Blick auf die Berge. Passt.“

“We visited here Saturday 13th June 2020, we were staying at Camping Resort Zugspitze at Grainau and after an awful lot of walking that morning we caught the bus here. It's close to the centre of town just past a church. It being a lovely day we sat in the garden. As others have commented it pitches itself as high end, it's a hotel and restaurant as well, however as others have also correctly mentioned the staff do seem to have something of an attitude, for example 👉 We were quite thirsty and asked for a large Radler each, the waitress smiled and agreed looking at the weather it was a good choice, a male waiter then came over with our drinks which were two small radlers, we didn't have time to stop him as he was already off to another table, so we caught the attention of the female waitress again and pointed out that there was an error, rather than acceptance of her mistake she double down and looking at the menu explained how we had pointed to the small on the menu, we were quite annoyed as we never used the menu when ordering on this occasion. I was pleased to see that she then completely mucked up someones order on the next table. Aside from this, I liked the beer and it was a nice place. We stayed for another beer, I thought that the beers were very good and it was a lovely place. I only briefly looked inside when using the toilet facilities. Outside there was plenty of shade, despite being bordered by two streets it wasn't too busy with traffic noise or vehicles. Good place despite the staff.“

“Visité à plusieurs reprises lors de séjours en Bavière, un restaurant/bar assez grand avec une belle terrasse, en plein coeur de la ville. La décoration est assez typique, carrément typique en fait, et permet d'observer le matériel utilisé pour brasser. Nous y avons bien mangé et les bières sont excellentes.“

“Hotel in the center of town, with a nice restaurant. The buffet is for the hotel guests, apparently, but the regular menu was very nice. They've got the full spread of Paulaner beers, including the standard three on tap. Reasonable prices. This is a quality spot for dinner.“

“Small restaurant, with a modern ambiance. The waitress was friendly and quick. They have several house beers brewed by Dachsbräu, along with some of their regular beers. The food is simply excellent. Great variations on classic Bavarian dishes. The prices are a little high, but fair. This is a lovely restaurant, in a wonderful town.“

“Small store in the line of shops by the Oberammergau train station. Stopped in while getting some food next door. Most of the store is crates of beer in rows on the floor, but there are some craft beer shelves and islands, with some surprisingly good finds. The employee was quiet, but efficient. The prices were very good. This is a worthy stop if you're in the area, and you need bottles.“

“The only place worth visiting in this small town. It has a grat look and a nice atmosphere. Its trying to be a class act but a certain snob does come with it. The beers are very nice. A great place to relax.“

“Really nice-looking brewpub/restaurant/hotel with beautiful wooden decor and shiny brass brew kettles. The food was quite good, though not exactly cheap. Too bad the waiter was bordering on curtness, a trait sadly all too common with places attempting to be posh. The beers are quite nice though, even if a little thin. Probably more enjoyable in the summer, sitting outside in the beergarden.“
