“Visited the place on a Sunday afternoon. The patio was quite full of people eating. The Hütt Brewery store was closed so I decided to ask if they have some beers to sell to go on the Brauhaus Knallhütte side. Yes, they had. Variety pack of 6 different Hütt beers for 12 eur. Friendly service, also in English.“

“Nice atmosphere and decent food as well as a decent selection of beer. On the Sunday when we visited they even had a kid’s play room setup.“

“Great place! In addition to 5 real good brews from main (rather big) brewery, you get some more from the 2-nd, very small - 200 liter brewery that brewmaster uses as a hobby. 2-in-1!!!“

“Seems quite ambitious to be more than the usual schnitzel-and-knuckle-of-pork brewpub. Focus on their history as home of the woman who told all the fairy tales to the brothers Grimm. Obviously very popular sunday destination. Abundant servings, unthrilling quality. Their "Luxus Pils" is a regional benchmark.“

“The decoration of this place is a bit odd - more like an Autobahn gasthof than a brewpub. When we hit the place a lot of families and businessmen was there for lunch. 8 beers - 3 on draft and 5 in bottles. The food was good without being extraordinary and the waitress was very nice. A good place to stop along the way - but nothing to go out of your way to visit. The brewery itself was surprisingly big.“
