“Town centre of this very touristy city in the unesco world heritage site Upper Rhine Valley. English/Scotish inspired pub, cool atmosphere inside. I came early on a weekday, only customer inside, a couple people outside. Bundesliga on the screen. Service was busy chatting with friends outside, but helpful on request. They write about craft beer on their website but nothing on the menu or visible. One local applewine though. Good spot if stranded in this city.“

“A pleasant find this one, in the town centre but off the tourist drag, close to where the boats dock. Friendly and welcoming, it is the one place in town where you may get a variation in beers and some imports. A little dark and dinghy inside, but peaceful during the day. Returned a few times. Yes they got the spelling wrong on the outside signs, some barmen wear kilts!“

“Part of the historic Hotel Lindenwirt in central Rudesheim, traditional in all ways including service. Not a great range of beers but it is a haven in a tourist mayhem.“

“Jun 18. Nothing on the beer front now. Shame. Jun 14. We were visiting this touristy little town and were keen to find a decent place for a drink. This proved to be the best we could find, all bottled beers rather than on tap, but they were pretty relaxed about just drinking rather than eating. There is a very pleasant covered patio area, with a more restauranty area indoors. In the absence of alternatives this is certainly worth a look.“

“In the heart of Rüdesheim, a touristy City Close to Wiesbaden/Mainz/Frankfurt. Parking is about 300m away as the inner City is only for pedestrians. In this area are many Restaurants, some more touristy, some with way more atmosphere than this one, Prices are all a Little higher as in General in the Region because of the tourists. This place is seperated in two Areas, a Restaurant and a Patio, beergarten style. They do have the "Rheingauer Landbier" on tap which is produced from Faust/Miltenberg. Some bottles with Weizenbier, not menitoned on the menu from which brewery. Food was solid. Service okay. Visited around noon.“

“Relaxing to sit down in the nicely decorated bier garten at the front of the stube enjoying a landbier from the region vom Fass. There were six more beers on the menu from different German breweries like Erdinger, Schöfferhofer and Andechs. Polite service by the table. British and Irish music in the background (U2 and Coldplay). Thanks to imdownthepub for guiding me here, that’s how Ratebeer works at its best (Visited 24.07.2014).“
