“Have been there today on our way back. Luckily it was on our route anyway and we didn’t take a long extra route. Selection was pretty nice and although we have been in the nearer region for a couple of days - still around 16 new beers without buying the non-alc / fruit beer and Bavarian stuff. The owner was friendly but little bit "dangerous" because of a football match from the night before. Would not visit the bottle shop again but it was ok for a stop when being around anyway.“

“Surprisingly well-stocked Getränkemarkt in variety-challenged Lower Saxony, doing full service as bottle shop, all cases are sold in singles. Coverage of most local Wolters-brewed and bottled beers from Braunschweig, environs and up North (Hanover, Holstein) and a more than decent selection of Bavarian/Franconian Weiße (including Schneider Weiße TAP1, Simon, Weißenoher, Weltenburger). Besides Altenauer, no real smaller/independent brewers to mention, as it seems there are none? Sadly no Goslarer Gose.
Between locals loading up on Hasseröder and Wolters, staff did not seem particularly prepared for someone loading up on 2 mixed cases of all different beers, but were nice, helpful and pragmatic enough not to mar the fun. Value for all bottles is excellent, even for Southern "imports", on par or beating Maruhn 400 kms down south.“
