“Visited on the way back from Copenhagen to Edinburgh. Lovely stopover! Easy to walk past, but once spotted it's a very inviting space. Tried the three beers on tap, got the free roll but was already full from dinner. Got a shot at the end that came with even more free food! Very friendly service. Good value for money. Would recommend if you're passing.“

“Visited June 2019. Traditional style interior over more than one level. Beers unexceptional though i.m.o solid to style.“

“A bar by the cinema entrance/exit with keen staff who speak excellent English. A couple of well known brands plus I had Pale Ale from Maisel & Friends aswell as Great Escape IPA from Buddelship ! I doubt you will find any similar beers elsewhere in this town!“

“Beers nothing exciting, just standard helles/dunkles/hefeweiss. A very nice touch is the free roll with dill cream, the roll made from brewery's spent malt served on a mini chopping board. Very nice it was too, complimenting the beer nicely. Unfortunately they do not brew anything daring like a Maibock or IPA... just play it safe with the usual 3 styles.“

“Visited today before a match of VfL Osnabrück. Quite a cosy place with two levels. Staff was friendly but it took some time that they started to smile. With every first piwo you are asked if you would like to have a Treberbrot (bread from left grainovers) with lard FOR FREE. The Hefe was out so I tried the Hell and Dunkel. Straight, easy going and reasonable beers. I did not try any other beer but I liked the place a lot as it was just cosy and just a little walk from the Dom and the other storied buildings.“

“Visited on Friday 11th December 2015. A 5 minute walk from Altstadt station. A nice old place, two levels, large centre bar. Sat at the bar as it was quiet. 2 beers available, both were decent. Free bread made from the grain leftovers from brewing and dripping which was a nice touch. Service friendly. Good brewpub but limited range for a rater.“

“Located within a stone’s throw from the town hall and the cathedral, this brewpub is a must-visit when in town, especially for its long history and its coziness. The selection includes three beers brewed on the spot. I had the Weizen and it was decent. The staff are very friendly and give all customers a treat of local bread and some cheese spread :-) Otherwise I did not try the food but it looked good. Fair prices. And yes, Dedollewaitor is right: the waitresses are good-looking, indeed.“

“Visited several times, since it makes a perfekt pitstop on our way back from Holland / Belgium. A large citycenter brewpub, very central. Easy to find parking if you are in car. Very friendly staff, beers are normally in good condition and the food is great ( typical german food ). I once hade a cheese platter and counted 14 different cheeses :-) yummiie... If you are in the area, wants some great food and beers to go with it, this place for sure is worth a visit..“

“Restaurant with brewery and distillery in the old centre, a few 100 metres from Altstadt station. Good food at very reasonable prices (the lunchtime offer is even very cheap), decent beers and very interesting Bierbrand. Seating is on two levels, from both you can have a look at the brewing equipment.“

“Visited 16th of July 2012. Nice brewpub with light brown wood interior. Polite and helpful service. They had Hell, Dunkel and Weizen on at my visit, and they were all fairly good. Good food as well without being great.“
