“Good selection on draft, didn't see the bottle and can list, but the barman kept bringing us an interesting selection. Great service.“

“Huge EDEKA supermarket with a well-assorted Getraenkemarkt in a separate room; wide selection of local (craft)beers, franconian (and bavarian) Lagers and some interesting stuff from B, GB and USA; recommended for beginners, the advanced beer-drinker will hardly find anything new there...“

“Nice Brauhaus in the heart of Bonn. Quite large and crowded. 3 beers on tap, copper brewing Equipment in the back of the restaurant. Quite smart staff, helfull and fast. Main beer is non-filtered Kölsch. Food looks good and is very tasty. Worth a visit.“

“Nice beer bar in the city of Bonn. I don't know how to discribe the style/setting...its a ... bar. Anyway, 8 beers on tap, half of them locals from Bonn, half international (very nice Beavertown tonite). Staff is frindly and attended. Flights available, prices... yeah, fair. Terrible music-mix...“

“Fritz das Urgestein der dt. Craftbier-Szene hat in Pützchen eine richtig gute Brauerei aufgebaut! Wir lieben seine Biere besonders Bonner Pils und AleMania Neipa! Ein wirkliches Highlight dieses Jahr: Vier neue Biere in 0,44L Dosen! Unter anderem eine Co-Op mit RedNip Dem Bonner Mode Label -> ein Kiwi-Milkshake IPA! Mein Favourit der vier - das Bonkers DDH DIPA! Fritz & the Gang macht weiter soo! Es ist ein riesen Fest mit euch!“

“Brewpub just at the forest - makes for a good place ending your mountainbike trip or drive to the nearby Drachenfels. Medium sized, with a narrow patio, quite nice. Very good pulled pork flammkuchen. Service was nice, if maybe a bit slow. While definitely not groundbreaking, their kolsch and pils are tasty beers and probably the best you can find in the near vicinity. Nice place.“

“Smallish brewpub at the edge of Bonn's old town. Nice and cozy, wood-laden interior. Very tasty pork knuckle pan. With that being said - the beers were so terrible, that upon seeing a Peter's Kolsch sign at an Asian fast food opposite, I started wondering, whether said fast food joint would not have been a better choice for lunch.“

“Good beer shop with really great selection of beers (also local) and changing events. Unfortunately no serving licence. Prices are similar to other craft beer shops. Opening times are way to rarely. But this is owed that the owner has a "real job" also... ;-)“

“Nice located in the Oldtown of Bonn. Huge selection of regional, national and international craftbeers. The owner, a beer sommelier and home brewer, kowns a lot about beer and tells you everything about the beers in his shop, if you ask him. He offers reglary tastings too.“

“In centuries gone by, this was a brewery pub - and the main reason for tourists to visit the modern restaurant is the history of the premises. Beethoven was born just 30 yards down the road, and this is where his notoriously alcoholic father reportedly spent most of his time and all of his money! There are a few decent German beers on tap and in bottles. The food is mostly traditional and regional, but prepared rather tastily. Tourists can visit the museum in Ludwig's birth house, then come here for a snack and a drink - there are also tables outside during the warmer months.“

“For a department store, they have a decent selection of craft beers - but they tend to ignore the non-alcoholic variety, which is gaining importance in Germany.“

“This strikes me as Bonn's attempt at creating its own version of a Cologne brewery pub - which is possibly unfair, since I don't know anything about the place's history. But I don't like the original, and I'm not too fond of this variation on the theme, either.“

“Medium-sized restaurant, located in between a motorway and a forest, can be reached by car easily while it’s a ten to fifteen minute walk from the closest bus station. There’s a large patio in front of it, the restaurant itself is not overly spacious. Modern, clean interior, a bit too bright in my opinion, two kettles for brewing stand right next to the bar. Three taps available during my visit, their standard Helles (Kölsch), a Weizen and a Rotbier. Bottles for take away or immediate consumption are availabe as well, but not more than four different ones. The quality of the beer is okay, prices for them are not too high. Service is very friendly though, the waitress gave me reasonable information regarding their beers, I didn’t have to wait too long either. Interesting place, might come back for seasonals or specials if I’m in the area again.“

“Small, neatly decorated Irish Pub with a few tables and chairs outside located in the old town of Bonn close to ’Bierhaus Machold’ and ’Pinte’. Looks really nice, lots of beer and whisky related stuff on the walls and shelves, very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, quite traditional. Focus is on whisky (special offer: tasting of 6 Scottish whiskys for 20 €), but a selection of for Germany uncommon bottled British beers is available, including Wychwood, Fuller’s or Shepherd Neame. Prices are okay, you pay almost the same prices for the bottles as in the ’English Shop’ in the city centre. Some food like burgers or fish and chips is offered as well, didn’t give it a try though. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it, especially not for the beer, but if you’re looking for a decent pub in Bonn that does not only serve Kölsch you’ll feel comfortable being here.“

“Rather small pub in the old town of Bonn. Simple interior, a few beer enamels on the walls, dimmed light. A bit worn-down maybe, but nevertheless a cozy and inviting place. The tap beers are rather forgettable, just macro beers you can get everywhere, but the bottle list is far better than anywhere else in Bonn (which is not that difficult of course). Some local stuff from Ale Mania, well-distributed German craft beers from Crew Republic or Schönramer, BrewDog, Sierra Nevada and Anchor. Nothing crazy, but overall a solid selection you can spend a few hours with. Prices for the bottles are a bit high though. The staff are friendly and quick and give the impression they like their job. Overall a very pleasant place, can be crowded even during the week when showing football.“

“Paulaner restaurant in the heart of Bonn, just a minute away from central station. Quite spacious, feels like a traditional brewpub with a small bar, high tables and stools in the front and a larger eating area in the back. The beer is exclusively Paulaner, sometimes they have seasonals as well. Five beers from tap which can be ordered in a tasting flight of 0.2 l glasses for 10 €, and five from bottle (mainly their Weizens). A bit expensive actually (for German standards), but still reasonable. Didn’t try the food, but it’s that typical hearty and meaty stuff you’d expect here. The staff looked a bit grumpy, they didn’t seem to be too motivated, and they closed at 11 pm instead of 1 am, although people were still coming in. They were friendly and helpful nevertherless, but they could have told me that they were about to close very soon before I got my litre of beer.“
