“Presumably the modern kind of a westphalian "Landgasthof"outside of Havixbeck; but some "typical" blue tyles - as in Holland - and rustic wooden furniture and a shiny brewing kit in an ample tap-room do not create a cozy atmosphere… Neither the location nor the simple beers are worth a detour…“

“Have been there on a Saturday afternoon - the place was empty, there was no atmosphere to be found. Well at least not a nice one. Ordered some warm food - it took ages but was quite nice. Service was first okay but when a waitress took over it got unfriendly and unwelcoming. Had to wait ages to order the second round of drinks and although my intention was to order their third beer as well I didn’t because we were forgotten all the time and nobody of the staff cared anyway if we want more drinks. Prices were okay but I would never come back because of the service and the location (in the middle of nowhere).“

“The brewery is located in the fileds outside Havixbeck. The beer garden is next to a big street, so it is a bid loud. But inside, its quite nice. Typical, very tasty German food is served, and normally there are two or three beers on tap (one being the beer of the season).“

“A nice place to visit if you’re on a bike tour. Outside the service is sometimes slow, but the food is good.“
