“Stopped in for lunch on a work day. Speedy service, English speakers but only a German menu. Four beers on tap, had one. Everything was decently priced. The salad I ordered came the with largest pork chop I'd ever seen in my life on top. Not a place for regular stops, but good if you're passing through.“

“[Note: Review is for the local bottle shop in Kaiserslauten, not the online shop! Not sure which one (place 53533 and 53532) is which, as both entries list a street address and opening hours.] Good selection for German craft beer store standards. Emphasis on local and US beers, also quite some from Denmark/Norway and probably Belgium (didn’t check those). Maybe a third of the beers are cooled - not perfect, but better than in many other places. Nice interior and atmosphere. Helpful and friendly, but not obtrusive owner. In the city center of Kaiserslautern, so easy to reach by public transport. For those going by car: limited parking space just in front of the store, so you might by lucky. Otherwise there is an undergroud parking (Pfalztheater) nearby. Verify the opening hours (opened earlier when I went).“

“I liked this place. In the center of the city, patio in the front, nice ambiance (except from smoking inside), modern - industrial decoration with nice wooden tables and a small bar. I will give 3 for ambiance just because of smoking. Their beers were OK, the food was good, service was very good and friendly and prices were good too. I will visit it again if I come back in town.“

“Finally!!!! Real Craft in the Kaiserslautern/ Ramstein area. Shop is in a transition waiting for its final location to finish renovations. It is currently in the families Shoe store, so you need to look for the shoe store with a few bottles of beer in the window. Selection is very good given the amount of space available. They have American, German, and European craft as well as a good Belgian selection. Note, it cash only at this time since they can’t charge the beer to the shoe store. I dealt with the owners parents, they are not beer geeks but they were very friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited about their sons new venture. His mother spoke very good English. She said the new/final location (near the Fußgänger and Schillerplatz) will have a bar as well as the bottle shop. I can’t wait.“

“If you are looking for craft beer and do t wanna drive an hour plus then this is the place!! Toby has a great selection. He is just getting started but it is by far the best thing I have found in the keiserslautern area!! Toby is a beer lover so talk with him for a few...great guy! It is in a shoe store so it is easy to miss. “

“Very very slow service. My friends and I called in last week, while at the local Plandampf. We ordered 3 beers and food at 2000hrs, the beers arrived after a few minutes. We sat outside, as the main bar area was very smokey. The side salad arrived after 30 minutes. We then reminded the waitress that we were still waiting for our food. We never saw the main course that we had ordered, as after waiting for over an hour, there was no sign of it! We had a train to catch at 2120. So we cancelled our food order and left hungry! This was not a busy evening. The waitress was most apologetic, but it wasn’t her fault.“

“One word: Tower. Bring your friends and get a tower beer. The beer is good and the food is better. I’ve had some great steaks and salads here. The service is good for a German place being rated by an American (you know what I mean if you know). I’ve been here countless times and wish I could go back.“

“Went here a couple of times together with Caytinator. The breakfast buffet is the best ever. Lots of choice, roasted chicken, roasted pork, chicken fingers, noodles, bread, croissants, cheese, jam, tomatoes, bacon, eggs, everything! And all of that for... 9 euro’s (or something like that). Totally worth it! They have a sample flight with all 4 beers on draft. One was with cascade hops, which made the beer stand out. Regular food was also good, decent schnitzel and chicken salad. If you’re in town, this is the place where you want to be!“

“The reason to go are the Brauhaus original beers, they are really tasty German traditionals, if not a little bit plain. No Bitburger here! Go for the seasonal tap if available. The "meter beer" is kind of a gimmick, but a fun one. The salads are HUGE and the food is really pretty good. The prices are average, and the location is fun. Service pretty good usually.“

“Large place with lots of different sections, including a very small patio in front where you can sip your beer and listen to the bells of the Stiftschurch. 3 regular beers (same as in every brewpub in Germany) and one seasonal (same as in every brewpub in Germany. You can try all 4 (0.1 liter sample size) for 3 euro 30. Recent evidence of brewing on site was noticeable. Tasty breakfast buffet and brunch on Sunday.“

“This is a nice resturant as others have said. The beers I had were all mid level. The food is served in huge portions. Theyhave a nice beer garden in the back and tables on the street in the front. Serverice was spot on.“

“Nice place with good beer. The pils is quite refreshing, but oddly thin. The weizen was also good. The other beers are hit or miss (although I appreciate the beer sampler). The food is good quality and the portions are large. The staff range from very on the ball to neglectful (even for Europeans).“

“As a restaurant this place was awesome! The food was great and the serving sizes were rediculously huge. Two people could easily share one meal. The beer was a little disappointing in my opinion. All of them were a little off balance and unfortunately there was no Marzen brewed when we got there. The dunkel was probably the best with a decent weizen in second place.“

“Of course I’m biased about this place and I’ll tell you why. They brew the best hefeweizen next to Weihenstephaner IN HOUSE! Yep, order a 5 litre tower of brew, a pizza or any of their delicious dinners, kick back and enjoy the evening outdoors. The last time I was here, I asked if they had beer to go. I was told to bring in a container and they’d hook me up. Damn, I wish that wasn’t the last time I went here. Prrrrrrrrost!!“

“Very nice laid back place in the city center. The decoration is rustic, sober, and modern, and there is a big section outside, and a small indoor garden as well. Very friendly staff. Solid german food. The beer selection is limited with only the three regular pub brews and tap along with a rotating seasonal.“

“Very convenient location - right outside the Markt parking garage. Have two separate sections - a bar and a cafe - as of 15 February the cafe is smoke-free. Not tons of seating but not bad at mid/late afternoon. Solid beers with a rotating seasonal. A nice place and worth the stop if in Kaiserslautern.“

“Good Dunkels and Altbiers. They have 5 liter tubes with a spigot to self serve. Very close to Ramstein AFB. Nothing like enjoying a summer day with a German beer, a stogie (cigar shop nearby) on the patio in the summer. Locals and non-locals get a kick seeing the 5 liter towers of bier. Some nights, they have concerts right nearby, so you can enjoy the live music and beer.“
