“2022 rating: big beer garden, but as Marduk said: bottled beer, and small selection. We ate lunch here, which was reasonably priced, and quite tasty.“

“Garage brewery type of brewery. Not hard to find. They had like 6 beers available in bottles for take away and they were brewing whilst we were there. Worth a visit. English spoken. Still no card.“

“You would expect it to be a Bitburger taproom. It looks like one. But when beers are served none of them come from tap. Wtf moment was quite huge, especially when they even ask "large or small one?". At least food was honest.“

“The craft beer scene in Trier. 12 local taps and a three stage cooler full of cans and bottles. Knowledgeable staff and flights are available. Kinda got that college kid vibe with a shelf full of board games.“

“City centre bar with a dozen beers on draught and a double fridge of bottles and cans. Laid back vibe stretches to waiter service while two guys chat with each other behind the bar. A good range. No food that I saw but a pizzeria and a fish restaurant opposite. A few tables on the street.“

“Visited back in 2016. Didn't bother to rate, because at that that time it didn't have anything interesting at all, just limited macros in supermarket. From other reviews it looks like it hasn't been improved. But hey it is a region tick :)“

“Only craft beer place in the centre so its pretty easy. Plain hipster interior which is not my thing. Beers available were all right, a bit generic. Taster flight available with one beer clearly too sour to be called normal which was ignored by the service. Selection is fair, prices typically for the centre. Ambiance felt all a bit too much, though.“

“Big place, biergarten, restuarant, hotel and brewery in the outskits of Trier, but easy to get to by bus. Very busy at dinnertime a tuesday, but we managed to get a table. 4 tap's, 3 regular, hell, dunker, weiss (surprise) and a special being a english pale ale, all pretty good. Nice food menu and what we had was very tasty. Service was good even though the place was filled. Fair prices aswell.“

“Small little dark bar, some seating outside aswell. 7 tap's, 2 unrated locals and some macro stuff. About 20 bottles, semi interesting and there is a bottle list, a plus. Fine but a little slow served who disappered a few times doing out visit. Visited a second a little later, had forgotten about the smoke wichh was really bad now.“

“A cosy hotel with a restaurant and a own brewery in a suburb of Trier just next to vineyards. The selection is nice, five of their own beers from tap, a few dozens of other German beers and even a few foreign ones, mainly Belgian. The food tasted good and the service was nice. The hotel room makes this place special, it's cosy, perfect to have a night there as a couple. So romance can clearly be mixed with beer.“

“Typical drink market but a place in Trier that sells Sonenbuerg Saargauer Viez and some other bigger local Viez aswell. Viez is the regional applewine. For me it was worth a visit just to pick up this bottle.“

“Quite the cozy brewpub and bier garten, this one offers a few house beers alongside a fair guest bottle list, mostly all German-made. The food is typical German comfort food with an artistic twist. This was a nice stop on the way from Luxembourg to Frankfurt.“

“Ok, not sure why I should review this place, because it’s basically large garage with brewing equipment. Fun to watch though and close to the Brauhaus where their beer is available on tap. Didn’t buy anything when I visited, just checked it out and asked for directions to the Brauhaus.“

“Who adds this stuff? well to rate it, if you are in Trier just go inside and amuse yourself since there isnt much selection. I hoped for some local brews but well there are only some large macro brands.“

“I often work in Trier and have been visiting this place for a few years now, being that it was always the one place where you could find at least a couple of interesting beers, coupled with staff who were interested in what they were selling. Now they have stepped up to a whole new level, with a very good bottled craft beer menu. They still usually have a beer from the local Zills brewery on draught. The interior is quite modern and it attracts a hippish crowd, whilst retaining a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Without doubt the best beer destination in Trier!“

“Tyoical "Getränkemarkt" with pretty good beer selection. They have all of the majors of course, but also some brands that may be harder to find, such as Rothaus or Faust. There is even a (very small) craft beer section where they offer some beers from Schönramer, Riegele et al. I was pretty impressed by the huge wall of Bitburger along one of the sides. Employees seemed friendly, prices were fine.“

“Located in a quiet suburb of tje beautiful Trier, this grand restaurant-beer cellar-hotel offers a nice refuge after an exhausting walk in the magnificent Mosel region. There are at least three different own brews on tap, and more in bottles, the selection of which includes also other interesting, modern German beers, e.g. from Bier Zauberei or Riegele. The staff are friendly but quite busy. Proper glassware. Not exactly cheap but worth a visit if you are in the area and got fed up with wine.“

“Located in the beautiful, ancient citry centre of Trier, this is possibly the tiniest brewery that one can visit in the whole country. There is no place to sit and enjoy a drink - the only room the vistor sees is rather small and filled with brewing equipment. Beer for sale is available just there, while one is standing outside on concrete steps and chatting with the friendly brewer. Only one beer brewed and sold at any given monent - I was lucky to find the brewery’s Altbier :-). Inexpensive. Will be back if I ever come to Trier again.“

“Great little city centre brewery run by a very convivial guy. Tried their rather nice Pils on draught in the Cafe Winkel up the road, and they told me where the brewery was. Friendly greeting on arrival, and got given a bottle of their marvelous Alt beer to try there and then on the steps of the brewery. Later tried their Weizen in Cafe Treff which I wasn ot so keen on, but I am not really a Weizen drinker. Great to see trier having a city centre brewery again!“

“Probably the only interested beer place in a wide area around Trier. Very friendly service trying to explain stuff about the beers. The beers were pretty good but the IPA ridiculous expensive. Overall good prices. The food was really excellent. Not a huge schnitzel or other piece of pork but interesting dishes.“
