68 /100 THOMAS-MANN-STR. 7 Friendly and typical German place. If You are visiting Bautzen, is a must see and must drink place. |
60 /100 THOMAS-MANN-STR. 7 This place is situated in a quiet neighborhood. It has a nice beer garden, and the interior isn’t too bad either. The beers were all of good quality though nothing fantastic. We had a nice apfelstrudel. Surely worth a visit, if you find yourself in this part of Germany. |
70 /100 FISCHERGASSE 6 Brewpub in the hotel Spree Pension. The latter is very nice in itself, located on the bank of the Spree River, almost underneath the Friedensbrücke. Lots of grass and flowers in the garden, lots of wood inside. Both sights are sights to behold, so to speak. From what I gathered, they brew four regulars and a seasonal. Go especially for their Pils and Hefeweizen, those are definitely worth it. |
66 /100 THOMAS-MANN-STR. 7 Small-ish, obscure brewpub in an even more obscure, I guess communist era style building, in the middle of the villa district of Bautzen. Quite depressing to walk around the area, seeing how many nice villas are standing empty, falling gradually into decay. Anyway, service was nice, the malt battered meat was excellent and as for the beer, their Krausen alone is worth a visit. Bottom line is, they make no weak beer. Recommended. |
74 /100 Ortenburgstüb’l (Restaurant) SCHLOSSSTRASSE 9 Nice and cozy place with wooden interior, a very friendly waitress, a green beergarden in the back and the full range of the local Bautzener Brauhaus on tap. Charming. |
78 /100 Ortenburgstüb’l (Restaurant) SCHLOSSSTRASSE 9 Very nice place with beer garden. Great service, prices and food. Small problem they don’t speak english at all. Beers are quite good. |
