“This brauhaus has a great location right on a town square. We had a seat outside, and had their three beers. The Rotbier was pretty weak, but the Pils and the Tafelbier were okay. Lots of locals stopping by for growler fills on a Saturday late afternoon.“

“Nice German Brewjhjaus located at the Marketplace in "downtown" Eutin. Been there for a quick business lunch. Nice ambience, could sit outside in the sun. Typical German food, quite tasty. Just could try the Oils which was quite good as well. Nice and friendly staff.“

“Visited on the evening of Thursday 16/07/15 and sat outside in the beer terrace on the market square for some early nibbles. Located about a 7 or 8 minute stroll from the Hbf (direct trains to Hamburg). 4 of their own beers on offer, usual trad German brewpub styles, all were decent enough without being to exciting. Service was prompt and the food was good too. Typical German brewpub ... delivers some decent enough beers and a good place for people watching across the square.“

“Visited in July 2015. Had dinner whole trying their beers on tap. Decent beers. Had their wurst which was really tasty. Quite crowded, but quick and friendly service. Lots of toys to keep the children occupied. Cosy warm place.“

“Visited on a Thursday evening in July 2015. Situated on the Market place a short walk from the Hbf. It has a terrace out front and back and a large single room with a balcony offering plenty of room. Sat near the kitchen so could smell and see the food that looked good. Beer was decent, 3 and a seasonal available, service was good. Nice place“

“Definitely the livelies establishment in the Old Town Square of the beautifully located Eutin, the brewpub offers the visitor an opportunity to relax outside or in one of the two large but pleasant dining halls. The selection includes the brewery’s own produce - four taps at the moment of writing. The staff are very friendly and generous, giving samples of the beer without any trouble or urge for gratification. The food is decent, served in German-size portions - I had a Braumeistersteak, which I could not finish. Not expensive and nice. I wouldn’t go there for the exceptional quality of the beers but for the food, service and atmosphere.“

“Visited a couple of times,once together with my parents, just before christmas, where the brewpub was decorated with a lots of "sweets". Some children went to go and try these giant pieces of "sweets", but found out that it wasn´t real.. It is a traditionel german brewpub, placed in the town square. Easy to find parking spaces. Both the food and the beers are traditionel german style, nothing unique, but nice. Friendly staff.“

“3 beers avalaible. All had little flaws. Diacetyl and such. Very friendly service and decent food - schnitzel. Prices are normal for northern Germany. 0,5 = 3 Euro. Fine.“

“Sittin on the town square, I guess this place is best enjoyed in the warmer months when you can sit outside enjoying your beer. The beer is good, but far from exceptional, but the staff were friendly and the food hearty, so I certainly enjoyed my stay. The interior is also nice, but just had a short look as the weather was too fine.“

“Very nice place to rest and order some dinner. Especially Sauerfleisch a traditionell northern german meal. There are mainly 3 types of beer. Its better drinking the beer in the pub than to carry it with you because there are only very expensive bottles to buy. One of the better northern german home brewing pubs.“

“Visited in mid-November and their Christmas beer didn’t get on until late November - too bad. So they only had 2 beers on draft and 1 only in take-away bottle. Even though the friendly and pretty waitress tried to get us permission to drink it on premises it failed, so we had to take it to the car, drink from our own glasses and return the refundable bottle, this draws down in the general service level. The food was good and reasonably priced. The place was quite busy at lunch hours. The gasthaus was quite nice, lots of wood panelling.“

“Nice Gasthaus in a not so interesting town. Very friendly hardworking young (and good looking) staff. The food was excellent, the beers are above average compared to other Gasthausbrauereien. I would certainly revisit if I happen to be in the neighbourhood.“

“In a nice old building on a nice, but unremarkable town square in an unremarkable town. This is a family restaraunt, really, with friggin’ stuffed animals on the walls as decoration. Sunday afternoon as we were there, it was full of familys and old ladies. The biergarten out back looks nice, but this isn’t really a place to hang out very long. Go only if you are in the area, but don’t make it a special trip.“

“Family friendly place- lot’s of familys there, lots of little kids, lots of games for kids and lots of teddybears are hanging at the reiling -. Not that smokey due to its high ceiling. Selection is for a German brewpup quite ok. Friendly service that even told us which beer should be tasted first so that the palate would not be ruined (never had that in Germany). Pub food, for me below average as the cook seems to love flavor enhancer. Decent prices.“
