“A fairly upmarket venue producing good quality (though usual predicable styles) helles/dunkles/weisse. Food excellent too. Well worth a visit if in the area. Update 2017... still going strong and now offer a winter and a may bock and in summer a sommer pale ale. Still the best beer in town I could find.“

“Located in a luxuriously looking hotel just off the strict centre of Husum, the brewpub welcomes the visitor with its rather modern state-of-the-art interior of this type of place. Neat, modest furniture, copper kettles and merchandise cleary visible from every place of the rather big dining hall, exhibitions in the hall, etc. The staff are very friendly and kowledgeable, and they willingly sell samples - five or four - of the house beer. The food is tasty and decent, though perhaps typical of a good German restaurant. Bottles and glasses sold to take away. On the way to the toilet, don’t miss the unique peek into the fermentation cellar with huge open kettles! Will gladly come back, especially that the price level is decent.“

“Like in so many other German brewpubs they have their copper kettles installed in the middle of the room for everyone to see, but apart from that there wasn’t really any atmosphere, which might have been due to the fact that we were seated far away in a corner. The service was very efficient (perhaps a little too much so). We had a good, solid and very German meal with plenty of food on the plates. Their four beers were pretty average. They do samplers and both food and drinks are cheap.“

“Visit this brewpub several times, and for sure worth a visit if you should be in this area. Large pub in the city center, easy to find and options for parking in the streets just outside. The food is typical german style, beers are in good condition. The staff know what they are doing, serving you with a smile. As such they do not sell their beers in bottles, but it´s possible to buy some of them as growlers.“

“NIce place near a very cosey city center. In june they a still on winteropening: 17.00, but the doors didnt open until 17.15! Cosey pub, freindly staff. They have a 4 sample "bierprobe" but there was no problem geting their 5. bier als "probe". (I was driving). I had the "biertapas" and it was very good. A place to visit if you a close by.“

“Cozy place, a hotel with a brewpub. The serving was fine. Enjoyed their food and their 2 beerbrandies. Asked for a visit in the brewery, but we weren’t enough (a thursday in November). Their beers are ok.“

“A cozy place in the same building as the Theodor Storm Hotel. That’s a quite convenient arrangement. There’s a nice beergarden in the back which would be the preferred place to slake the thirst in the summertime. Inside, the brewery is situated in the middle of the seating area. I didn’t try the food they were offering, but at least what the other guests were eating, looked nice. As Husum is located by the sea, there’s a good deal of sea-food dishes, but also the meat-dishes everyone in Germany serves.“

“Good looking brewpub and restaurant in the Theodor Storm Hotel (a Best Western hotel) in the old harbour city of Husum in Schleswig-Holstein, since 1991. The beers are not that much out of the ordinary German range, but worth a try. Good food. Daily Happy Hour 17.00 - 19.00. They have their own tent during the Husumer Hafentage (harbour days / festival) in August, but the brewpub is prettier (and less noisy!). Beers are available out of house in 2 liter fliptop siphons (growlers).“
