“Great to see a brew-pub in Rockhampton and good to see it located in an old building in the CBD rather than in the suburbs. The venue is more of a restaurant than a brew-pub although there are the brewing vessels in a line along one wall. There are six of their own labelled beers on tap and a range of macros in the fridge. The smallest size is a schooner (a negative) however tasting paddles are available upon request (no obvious advertising for them). Beers are at are normal craft beer venue prices. Spirits and wine are available. There is indoor trestle-style seating as well as table seating and I'd guess the capacity at around 100. There is an on-site kitchen to cater for the bar and restaurant. Staff who served me didn't known the product and openly admitted to not liking beer. Worth a visit if it is open when your are in town.“

“Visited on 26th March 2016. This is a cafe bar and nightclub upstairs situated in the centre of Rocky. Not far from the river. It didn’t look promising from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised and is probably on of the better venues we’ve been in hence the add. 2 banks of taps with 3 James Squire beers, Little Creatures Pale and Tooheys plus 4 X and the usual stuff. This may not set the world alight but is the best we found. Staff were friendly. Prices OK. Sports to watch, beer range in fridge had a few more Squire beers plus other. Wouldn’t fly round the world to it but it’s decent enough for a beer whilst in town!“
