“Apex is a car rental place that lets you take their cars to Bruny Island (but you sign a waiver for the 15 min care ferry).

Idyllic on the afternoon we visited. Tables, chairs & bean bags amongst the gums a fine setting for good rustic food as well as beer. The bread is as good as the cheese and beer. Friendly, relaxed service. I think 8 taps on the day as well as bottles which you can also take away.“

“Bruny Island itself isn't that easy to get to for tourists as most hire car companies won't cover you there. Luckily ours was the exception and so we visited this place (amongst other sightseeing). Cheese was incredible and the beer is better. All Tasmanian ingredients, lots of farmhouse style things and generally extremely well put together beers. Bottles available to take away and get some of their cheese too. Set flight available with small pours of other beers also offered when asked for. Great place.“
