“Visita durante el Toer de Geuze 2019. Pequeña fábrica, demasiadas cervezas azucaradas. Visita agradable.“

“Visited during Toer de Geuze 2017. Small old brewery. Beers were not too interesting, mainly sweetened and flavored versions, maybe because of TdG.“

“Lovely small brewery, which looks to me as if it’s still the old farmhouse buildings, built in a square. Very romantic setting. The equipment is older than my grandfather, looks amazing. The lambic is very decent. It does make you wonder, why the hell do they turn all their nice lambic into fruit flavoured sodas? :-(“

“Physically one of the nicer breweries with old school machinery and a creat courtyard. Was there for TDG, so not sure what it normally is like. Friendly, but their fun stuff was not available.“

“Small place in the country-side. Nice courtyard setting with barrels and such everywhere. Staff was friendly. I was here for TdG so there were samples to be had and some music. I would return for a more intimate tour.“

“Visited twice in the last years and many times before in the 80’s and early 90’s. Got lambic for a quite reasonable price and was even allowed to fill my litre swing top bottle with aged kriek lambic. Friendly service, was allowed to taste the lambic before buying it. Always worth a visit,“

“Been there twice. Nice farm, friendly people. Showed us around where the foeders are and we took some cans filled with Lambic back home. Really great quality stuff. For me, best Lambics in the area.“

“Visited a couple of years in a row in the summer, just to catch some lambics. Located in a small rural village, in an old farm/warehouse you will see quite often in the low countries. You can wander around the venue, sometimes without being noticed quite fast. But the people are really friendly, and if you ask if you can get some lambic to take away or for homeblending, they are really nice and helpful. We got to try several foeders and when we said we loved the old lambic, they wanted us to try some other foeders as well. Great guys and much underappreciated in my opinion.“

“Visited during Tour de Geuze on two seperate edtions. Very much a farm-like, looks old & almost a touch too old which is the complete opposite from what I expected it to look like. Looked very local & family friendly. From 2013 & 2015 visits I saw a big shift from them basically discouraging you try their unsweetened products to them slowly moving them a bit closer to the spotlight. They even told me that they plan to make a small release of their virtually non-existent non-sweetened Kriek. This is also the only place I have ever seen their young lambiek which honestly I do not like. Not bad to visit but nothing worth going out of your way for except for maybe the unblended lambiek. Not sure how open to the public they are usually.“

“Visited individually, post Toer de Geuze 2015. One of the lesser known geuze breweries and blenders in the area, a well-hidden, modest, oldschool Flemish family operation with limited capacities. Visited unannounced and still received a warm welcome with mini-tour from senior and junior brewer and left with a freshly tapped jug of their otherwise hard to find elsewhere 1,5yo (Oude) Lambiek. Lots of geuze-rustic character, aka urban-rural with a certain dirty/surreal Belgian je-ne-sais-quoi in the air. The opening hours advertised here are for their adjacent restaurant De Wijze Expressie, recently renovated. Skipped all 10-14 Chapeaus, while sadly Lambickx and Lambrucha is assembled/packed for and commissioned by US export only - no bottles anywhere to be found in Belgium.“

“You can visit this farmhouse brewery during the Tour de Geuze, and by arrangement other times. It really is a farm, expansive and rural. You can walk through the barrel room, and they’ll have one barrel tapped, pouring pitchers of unblended lambik. In the courtyard, bottles are for sale, as well as snack items. Folks are very friendly, and there is normally plenty of space, even when it’s crowded. You can peek into the brewing space to see the ancient equipment as well. Good place to visit.“
