“Visited 13 August 2011. This is the brewery tap of the Brootcoorens brewery. It’s a very simple affair, and only open on Saturdays. Tasting is free, but I recommend you buy bottles or tee shirts to take with you. If you don’t speak French, language will be a problem. The bartender led me out back where they were doing a brew on their rough and ready equipment. I tasted all the beers available (4) and what I believe was an apple wine. If going by train, It’s a long walk from the station. Make sure you get off at the Erquelinnes station, nor Erquelinnes Village. Right across from the station is the Commerce, with 65-70 beers.“
