“A brand new bar at the end of a long restaurant complex--they have a take away place for their smoked meat restaurant, then a beer garden with about 10 taps, then this big games room, then the new bar. the bar is pretty impressive, with probably about 20 taps. but they built it so the bar you stand at is pretty far away from the wall of taps, so it’s tough to see what they have. There were a bunch of relatively local Illinois beers, with some from farther afield (like Lagunitas). I did not expect any decent beer in out of the way Dwight but this place was a nice surprise. (Actually Dwight has a few decent places, so visit when you’re exploring Route 66.) Food is all meaty, so I can’t comment on quality, but it sounds like people like it. Beer was done well but they do use frosted glasses which was annoying. The day I was there the owner wasn’t around, and apparently he’s the guy to ask about the beer. They need a good beer listing board. This place is a decent work in progress.“
