“Stopped in with my wife and daughter on a Friday evening before the 6 PM rush. It calls itself a brewery but they have not decided to pursue brewing after a tragic accident to the guy who was going to be their brewer. They have 18 quality taps that tend to regional. I had a Fantasyland by Urban Chestnut and an IPA by Tallgrass. Of those 18 taps none are BMC. Well, I do remember seeing Blue Moon. Our waitress didn’t seem to know craft beer and had to check who brewed a couple of their beers. The food tends toward New Orleans cuisine. There are also a few offerings that are not so spicy. I got gator tails for an appetizer, red beans and rice for a side, and fried catfish. All were good. There is a great outdoor patio that sits right by the train tracks (hence the name).“

“Found this place after checking into our hotel on a recent softball tournament that was being hosted in Highland. Was very surprised to find a neat old building that has been remodeled nicely. Has 18 taps and the great thing is NOT ONE of them is a Bud, Miller or Coors product. They have some really nice beers, and have recently received their license to begin brewing their own beer. The food was very good, and the service was pretty good considering it was a Saturday night and they were very busy. My wife and I will be looking forward in the future to get down there to try one of their own beers sometime.“
