“Went here to try the beers. Great to have a local brewpub finally! The bar staff was friendly and helpful. What they didn’t know, they found out. Our server called the head brewer about a question I had that she didn’t have an answer for. The food here is not your typical bar food. The menu looks tasty All beers were $5 with flights of 5 samples being $9. Really cool décor with the polished brass kettles behind the bar. The beers were tasty.“

“Being an Illinois Valley homer, I guess I rated it higher then the others. Nice revolving selection of tap beers. $4 flights of beer, you choose the 3 that you want. Great staff, very friendly. If you go in there, ask for Danielle. A real great lady. Video gaming available now. Not a huge craft selection, but the best selection in the county.“

“On my first visit here I found Goose Island IPA and nothing more. However, they have since upped their game considerably. They now have 17 craft taps (plus 9 macro). These include offerings from Dogfish Head, Destihl, Revolution, to name a few. Generally they were, IL, WI, and MI beers. Flights are also available. This is still kind of a red neck sports bar. Bar food has a few different slants but is standard fare for the most part and pretty good. The location could not be easier to find being a very short distance from I80. Parking is plentiful. I get to this town on occasion and will be back for a beer.“

“Not a bad slection of beer. I would really question the age on a lot of products though as this is not a craft consuming area. Mix 6 section with some decent choices. Really its the only game in town for craft so check it out if you’re in the area.“

“Not terrible but in no way a place I call home to craft beer. A couple Goose Island taps and thats about it. I’m in this area for work often and the pickings are very slim. Decent bar food, lively atmosphere but don’t expect anything even close to interesting beer wise.“

“Smaller package store but they are 1 of 3 stores in my area that get a quantity of craft beer. It was here that I found the GI BCS Cherry Rye on the shelves.“

“Kind of a typical small town sports bar. Food is typical bar food, but better than expected. They have about 10 beers or so on tap - a few Goose Islands, Sam Adams, and your typicals. Service is not the best, especially when they take your beer with a couple sips still left! Hate that!“

“Not a bad option for the location, but you are talking primarily Goose Island, Sam Adams, Leinie’s, Bells Oberon and Fat Tire. They have pool tables, foosball, and video games and the ambiance is nice. Food is typical bar food.“
